Ultraviolette, an Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer, has introduced the F99 Factory Racing Platform electric superbike. This model was shown as a concept at EICMA 2023 and is now unveiled in India, though it’s still a prototype.  The F99 is more powerful than the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2, with a bigger motor and a higher top speed. Moreover, the company plans to set records for the fastest quarter mile and the highest top speed for an Indian motorcycle with this new superbike.  How’s The Design  Ultraviolette F99 is a fully-faired electric motorcycle with a cool, modern look. The superbike features active air and cooling ducts that help cool the motor. This bike stands out with its red and white colors.  Furthermore, the F99 is made entirely in India and has a true superbike design. It has a sleek front, aggressive angles, and a raised back end with winglets. There are winglets and ducts on the front and sides, plus carbon fiber covers for the wheels. Moreover, the bike also has carbon fiber body parts, an air shield to direct airflow over the rider’s head, a steel hybrid frame, and an aluminum swingarm.  How’s The PerformanceUltraviolette F99 has not shared its battery details yet, but it produces 120PS of power. It can reach a top speed of 265 kmph and goes from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3 seconds. Moreover, the bike has high-quality Ohlins suspension with a gold finish. It also includes an adjustable front fork and rear mono-shock.   This Ultraviolette bike uses special Metzeler Racetech slick tyres, sized 120/70 R17 in the front and 180/55 R17 in the back. Moreover, it is both fast and light, Weighing only 178 kg. Bengaluru-based EV company has revealed that the price of the Ultraviolette F77 Recon variant will rise from January 1, 2025. This variant is currently priced at Rs. 3.99 lakh, which will increase by 5% or about Rs. 20,000. However, the standard model will still cost Rs. 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Ultraviolette says the hike is due to rising input costs and changing market trends. For now, the company is offering a year-end discount of Rs. 14,000 on both variants. If you’ve been thinking about buying one, now might be the perfect time! Impressive Specs and FeaturesThe Ultraviolette F77 is a performance machine. The standard variant has a 7.1kWh battery with a range of 211 km. It delivers 90 Nm torque and reaches a top speed of 155 kmph. On the other hand, the Recon model takes it up a notch. It comes with a bigger 10.3kWh battery and offers 323 km of range. Moreover, this variant delivers more torque of 100 Nm but hits the same 155 kmph. You’ll go from 0 to 60 kmph in just 2.8 seconds, which makes it faster than the affordable variant.  Both variants come packed with tech features. These Ultravoillete bikes have buleetoth connectivity and riding modes along with a 5-inch TFT display. Their F99 electric superbike set a quarter-mile speed record. It completed the run in 10.712 seconds at Aamby Valley’s Valley Run 2024. While the former is paired with a 7.1kWh battery, delivering an ARAI-rated range of 211 Km, the later offers an extended range of 323 km. It has a 10.3kWh battery and comes with a price tag of Rs 3.99 Lakh. Furthermore, these F77 Mach 2 variants feature powerful motors, including 27kW for the standard and 30kW for the Recon. They also include regenerative braking, with up to 10 levels available in the Recon model. The F77 Mach 2 offers advanced features like auto-dimming lights, hill hold, ABS, and a 5-inch TFT display. OLA Roadster Pro: 579 Km/ChargeOla Roadster Pro is the most powerful and premium bike from the brand.
