Ultraviolette, an Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer, has introduced the F99 Factory Racing Platform electric superbike. This model was shown as a concept at EICMA 2023 and is now unveiled in India, though it’s still a prototype.
The F99 is more powerful than the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2, with a bigger motor and a higher top speed. Moreover, the company plans to set records for the fastest quarter mile and the highest top speed for an Indian motorcycle with this new superbike.
Ultraviolette F99 is a fully-faired electric motorcycle with a cool, modern look. The superbike features active air and cooling ducts that help cool the motor. This bike stands out with its red and white colors.
Furthermore, the F99 is made entirely in India and has a true superbike design. It has a sleek front, aggressive angles, and a raised back end with winglets. There are winglets and ducts on the front and sides, plus carbon fiber covers for the wheels. Moreover, the bike also has carbon fiber body parts, an air shield to direct airflow over the rider’s head, a steel hybrid frame, and an aluminum swingarm.
Ultraviolette F99 has not shared its battery details yet, but it produces 120PS of power. It can reach a top speed of 265 kmph and goes from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3 seconds. Moreover, the bike has high-quality Ohlins suspension with a gold finish. It also includes an adjustable front fork and rear mono-shock.
This Ultraviolette bike uses special Metzeler Racetech slick tyres, sized 120/70 R17 in the front and 180/55 R17 in the back. Moreover, it is both fast and light, Weighing only 178 kg. It also stops well with dual front discs using Brembo brakes and a lightweight rear disc.
