CFMoto revealed the 675 SR prototype in China in September 2023. Now, they have unveiled the almost-ready CFMoto 675 SR-R Aspar special edition for global markets.  CFMoto shared images of the concept bike in racing style, honouring Spanish racing hero Jorge Aspar Martinez. In 2022, the company after partnering with Moto GP has been consistently improving. Now, for this year, they’ve teamed up with the Asper team in Moto3 & Moto 2.  In Moto2, riders Jake Dixon from Britain and Izan Guevara from Spain race on blue, black, and fuchsia bikes. Dixon recently got his first podium of the season in Catalunya. In Moto3, David Alonso won four of the first six races and led the championship by 14 points.The CFMoto 675 SR-R Aspar edition celebrates this success and showcases their racing ambitions.  About CFMoto 675 SR-R Aspar special edition The special edition CFMoto 675 SR-R Aspar is a supersport bike that pays homage to Jorge ‘Aspar’ Martinez. He was a former racer and current team leader in the Moto3 CFMoto Aspar racing team. This bike features CFMoto’s first three-cylinder engine, which is expected to produce more than 100bhp.  The Aspar edition is a different motorcycle, but it looks like there may be more practical versions coming soon. The bike features a sophisticated design with unique Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) at the front, dynamic body panels, and aerodynamic winglets. It has a solid-looking fuel tank and a sculpted fairing that extends to a sleek tail with exhaust systems. Other features include custom footrests, tinted windshields, brake pads, hand grinders, and a special Aspar paint job.   CFMoto unveiled this new 3-cylinder engine at the EICMA 2023 show, showcasing its sleek design. While full technical details haven’t been released, we do know that the engine uses a traditional 120-degree crankshaft and two chain drives on the roof. The intake system is ready with Bosch fuel injection and individual throttle bodies.  CFMoto faces a challenge from established brands such as Triumph and MV Agusta. However, with Triumph and MV Agusta currently unable to compete in this particular segment, CFMoto has a potential chance to carve out a niche in Europe. CFMoto MT-X ADV concept was first shown at last year’s EICMA show. Now, the brand is ready to unveil this adventure motorcycle soon. Leaked documents confirm that its production version is ready for international markets.The 800MT-X is based on the 800MT adventure tourer but is designed for more extreme off-road use. It features high ground clearance, rally-inspired bodywork, a flat seat, and a slim tail end for better off-road performance. Furthermore, this upcoming CFMoto bike has a vertical 8-inch TFT screen mounted on a rally-style navigation tower. Also, the fuel tank is placed lower to improve balance and the riding experience.CFMoto 800MT-X Adventure Bike: Specifications CFMoto 800MT-X is built for adventure, using a powerful 799 cc LC8c twin-cylinder engine. This engine, designed by KTM, is made in China and is also used in several other bikes like the KTM 790 Duke/Adventure, Husqvarna Svartpilen 801, and CFMoto 800NK and Ibex.Furthermore, it has a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, which are better for off-road riding compared to the 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels of the standard 800MT models. Apart from this, this upcoming CFMoto adventure bike is expected to have a long-travel suspension from KYB. The size and shape are more similar to the high-end KTM 890 Adventure R than to the standard 800MT models.Changes from Concept to ProductionThe final production model of the 800MT-X has some differences from the concept version shown at the EICMA motorcycle show:Brakes: Instead of the four-piston Brembo front brakes, it uses J.Juan callipers, similar to those on KTM bikes.Disc Covers: The production model doesn't have the extra plastic protection around the brake discs that the concept had.Passenger Footrests: The production bike includes footrests for passengers, which the concept bike did not have.Exhaust: The Akrapovič exhaust from the concept is replaced with a CFMOTO-designed exhaust for road use.The bike is likely to be named 800MT-X to match CFMoto’s existing 800MT model. In the U.S. will carry Ibex branding, like the Ibex 800 S and Ibex 800 T.
