Ducati has revealed the updated Multistrada V2 for 2025, packed with exciting changes. The Italian ADV bike is now lighter, smarter, and more powerful than before. The Multistrada V2 comes in two variants, including Standard and S.  The base model weighs 199 kg, while the S trim is slightly heavier at 202 kg. Overall, the bike is 18 kg lighter than the outgoing model. Visually, the bike retains its bold and classic Ducati red paint scheme. Let’s know more about this Ducati bike:  New Engine and Frame for Better PerformanceThe highly awaited 2025 Multistrada V2 comes fitted with an all-new 890cc twin-cylinder unit promising exciting performance. The strong engine of this bike produces an output of as high as 115 horsepower, together with a huge torque of 92.1 Nm. Furthermore, the motor gets mated with a six-speed gearbox for an excellent riding experience and a bi-directional quickshifter for easier shifting both in up and downshifts. The biggest update Ducati has made is changing the Trellis frame to a modern monocoque frame design. This strategic change not only helps reduce the motorcycle's overall weight but also increases its handling capabilities. This makes it more agile and responsive on the road. Packed with Features and ElectronicsDucati has loaded advanced electronics on the Multistrada V2 to make every ride a delight. For this, it gets traction control, ride modes, power modes, and wheelie control. FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations) has announced its November 2024 sales report that registered a YoY increase of 15.80% and a MoM increase of 26.67%.  CategoryNovember 2024November 2023YoY %October 2024MoM %2-Wheeler2,615,9532,258,97015.80%20,65,09526.67% In November 2024, the industry clocked in a total sales volume of 2,615,953 units, whereas in November 2023, the industry saw sales of 2,258,970 units. This resulted in a 15.80% increase in YoY growth. Moreover, an impressive 26.67% growth in MoM sales is seen, as in October 2024, sales figures were 20,65,095 units. OEM-wise Market Share Data for November 2024 with YoY % 2-Wheeler OEMs Sales Figures & Market Share in November 2024Hero MotoCorp LTD sold the most two-wheelers in November 2024, with 915,468 units. This is a 13.79% increase from the 804,498 units they sold in November 2023. However, their market share declined by -1.74%. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India came in second, selling 654,564 units in November 2024. This is a 27.07% increase from the 515,128 units they sold in November 2023. Their market share also increased by 9.73%. TVS Motor Company Ltd. was third, selling 420,990 units in November 2024 compared to 366,896 units sold in November 2023. Their sales increased by 14.74%, but their market share degraded by 0.91%. Bajaj Auto Ltd.'s sales increased by 10.58% to 304,221 units in November 2024, compared to 275,119 last year. However, its market share declined slightly to 4.51%. Royal Enfield motorcycles experienced an 11.38% growth in sales, with 93,530 units sold in November 2024, up from 83,974 last year. Its market share decreased to 3.82%. Suzuki Motorcycle India witnessed a 10.65% YoY growth, with 91,972 units sold in November 2024, compared to 83,121 in November 2023. Suzuki’s market share decreased to 4.45%. Yamaha India sold 68,266 units in November 2024, which is a 6.44% increase from 64,133 units in November 2023. Moreover, their market share decreased to 8.08%.  In November 2024, Ola Electric reported total sales of 29,204, a decline of 2.89% compared to November 2023 sales of 30,073 units. Moreover, the company also experienced a degrowth of 16.14% in the market share. Ather Energy Pvt Ltd sold 12,760 units in November 2024. For comparison, the company registered sales of 9,342 units in November 2023, reporting a whopping increase of 36.59%. Moreover, on the market share front, the company also experienced an increase of 17.95% this month. Greaves Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd clocked in a total sales unit of 4,469 in November 2024, as compared to 4,416 units sold in November 2023. Due to this, the company saw a growth of 1.20% this month. Apart from this, the company also experienced an increase in its market share by 18.61% for November 2024.  Classic Legends, which offers retro-style motorcycles, sold 4,148 units in November 2024. This represents a 25.09% growth from the 3,316 units sold in November 2023. Their market share also increased to 8.02%. Piaggio sold 3,154 units in November 2024, a 9.24% decrease from the 3,475 units sold in November 2023. Ducati's power cruiser, the Diavel V4, now comes in a new Black Roadster colour, giving it a modern look. The Centro Stile Ducati-designed bike is sure to get attention on the road, thanks to its newest colour choice, which combines sportiness with a dark look. A Striking New DesignThe Black Roadster colour option combines bright yellow graphics with titanium silver and matte black in an eye-catching way. The bike's dynamic edge is created by the striking yellow highlights on the fuel tank and the black and silver stripes on the side panels and tail. Ducati has also added a redesigned seat cover to further enhance its character. This livery not only modernises the Diavel V4 but also pays subtle homage to Ducati’s storied history. Unchanged Power and PerformanceMechanically, the Diavel V4 remains the same powerhouse it has always been. It comes with a 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine that delivers 166.28 bhp and 126Nm of torque.
