Latest BMW F900 GS Updates

BMW F 900 GS Launching Soon: Key Expectations
BMW F 900 GS Launching Soon: Key Expectations
CalendarPublished on August 23, 2024 by BikeJunction
The BMW F 900 GS is gearing up for its India debut in the coming days. This ADV model, which is based on the F850 GS, has several significant updates.  New headlight and fairing design.Increased engine size to 895cc.Two ride modes and TFT.Available in three colour options.Expected price is around Rs 13 lakh.Design, Performance, and Pricing The BMW F 900 GS has a new design, with smaller headlights similar to those of the G 310 GS and a thinner fairing. It features a revised 895cc engine producing 105bhp and 93Nm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. Enhanced with two-way rides and advanced electronics, it is expected to start at around Rs 13 Lakh.  New designThe BMW F 900 GS features a remarkable redesign compared to its predecessor. It has new, smaller headlights similar to the BMW G 310 GS, and the fairing has been redesigned for a slimmer profile. This trend towards more manageable sizes is evident across the segment, with rivals such as the Triumph Tiger 900 adopting similar strategies. The F 900 GS, in particular, has a more purposeful look with its rally-inspired look and exposed subframe.  Bigger engineBMW has increased the parallel-twin engine from 853cc to 895cc, delivering 105bhp at 8500 rpm and 93 Nm at 6750 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The bigger engine, more power and improved weight of 14 kilograms should make the motorcycle faster and easier to handle, on and off the road.  Features and coloursThe bike has two ride modes—rain and road—as well as Dynamic Traction Control, ABS Pro, and other options. These functions are controlled through menus on the TFT screen. It comes in three colors: Sao Paulo Red, Black Hurricane Metallic, and Light White/Racing Blue/Metallic Red.  Expected price and competitionPricing will be crucial for BMW and established rivals like the Triumph Tiger 900. The starting price is expected to be close to Rs 13 Lakh, ex-showroom. Curious to know about the Upcoming New Kawasaki Versys X-300 Launch Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
