Although Suzuki has shared only a few details, one notable feature is the scooter's 70 Mpa (10,153 PSI) hydrogen fuel tank, indicating a significant step forward in this alternative propulsion technology. Developed based on the Burgman 400 model, Suzuki emphasises that this hydrogen-powered scooter is a technical exhibition piece with no immediate plans for commercial production. While hydrogen-powered combustion engines are not entirely new, their application in scooters represents a pioneering venture. Many manufacturers are exploring similar technology, especially in sectors like heavy equipment, where traditional batteries often prove too bulky and heavy for practical use. Suzuki will unveil additional details about this groundbreaking scooter at the upcoming Japan Mobility Show from October 26 to November 5 for those eager to learn more.
