Top 5 Highlights of Royal Enfield Bear 650 Scrambler Bike
CalendarPublished on November 6, 2024 by BikeJunction
Royal Enfield Bear 650 is the latest addition to Royal Enfield's 650cc lineup. With its scrambler design and several new features, the Bear 650 promises to offer an exciting ride for both road and light off-road enthusiasts. Here are the top five highlights of this new motorcycle. Design & AestheticsRoyal Enfield Bear 650 features a scrambler-type design that sets it apart from its sibling, the Interceptor 650. Though it shares the fuel tank with the Interceptor, the Bear has unique styling elements. The seat is designed with a slightly raised rear, which gives it a sporty and rugged look.  Furthermore, the side panels feature number plates that add to its off-road character. The biggest visual change is the two-into-one exhaust system, which is a first in Royal Enfield’s 650cc range. It gives the bike a distinctive appearance and contributes to its identity as a scrambler. Colour Options & Prices The Royal Enfield Bear 650 is available in five attractive colour options. These colours give riders a variety of styles to choose from classic to more vibrant looks. Two Four Nine (white with a chequered flag) at Rs. 3.59 LakhGolden Shadow (a mix of black and silver) at Rs. 3.51 LakhWild Honey (a striking combination of yellow and white) at Rs. 3.44 LakhPetrol Green (a deep green hue) at Rs. 3.44 LakhBoardwalk White (a clean white option) at Rs. 3.39 Lakh Engine Performance The Bear 650 is powered by Royal Enfield's proven 648cc parallel-twin engine. This engine produces 46.8 bhp of power, similar to the Interceptor. However, the Bear gets a slight increase in torque, delivering 56.5 Nm. This gives the Bear more punch, especially at lower speeds.  The new two-into-one exhaust system changes the look and helps reduce the bike's weight. The engine is paired with a smooth six-speed gearbox. This makes it a great performer on both highways and rough terrain. High-Tech Features RE Bear 650 scrambler has loaded-up its body with more modern technology to enhance convenience and safety. The bike features a full-colour, 4-inch TFT display showing ride data at-a-glance. The digital dash further avails connectivity and Google Maps navigation to ensure easy access of directions as well as connectivity to the riders. The handlebar also has a USB Type-C charging port where the riders can charge their mobiles on the go. LEDs for the headlamp, taillight, and indicators provide illumination no matter how low the lighting conditions are. The rear ABS can be switched off during off-road riding so that riders have full control over tricky situations. Hardware SpecificationsThis Royal Enfield bike stands out with high-quality components. The front suspension consists of Showa USD (upside-down) forks with 130mm of travel, which provides better handling on uneven roads. The rear has twin shocks that offer a comfortable ride over bumps. The Bear 650 rides on spoked wheels, with a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, fitted with MRF Nylorex block-pattern tyres. Furthermore, It has a larger 320mm front disc and a 270mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS as standard.  Before you go, don’t forget to check out the top 3 bikes that are as thrilling as Virat Kohli.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb   Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta   Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter

Royal Enfield Unveils Next-Gen Himalayan Electric 2.0
CalendarPublished on November 5, 2024 by BikeJunction
Royal Enfield has unveiled the Himalayan Electric 2.0, a next-generation variant of its adventure touring motorcycle. The electric variant promises to offer better off-road performance with sustainable, zero-emission performance based on the success of the original. The Himalayan Electric 2.0 has advanced battery technology built into it. Further, it is designed for rugged terrain, offering a longer range, faster charging, and a more robust build.   This motor is designed to supply the finest power flow possible. It makes it perfect for environmentally conscious adventure-seekers. It will be suited for riders who want efficiency along with great high-performance mileage in more rugged territories.  Quick Highlights:New-generation electric ADV with improved performance.Features updated UI and design elements.Equipped with advanced electronic suspension technology.Inspired by Himalayan 450 with rugged styling.Market feedback will shape future production models. The Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric 2.0 is officially out. It is the second generation of the brand's electric ADV motorcycle project. The first prototype of the electric Himalayan was introduced last year at EICMA. The Himalayan Electric 2.0 brings several upgrades and improvements compared to its predecessor.  Design and Features: Rugged, Refined, and Ready for Adventure The design seems like a derivative of the Himalayan 450. The bike comes with a windscreen, round LED headlight and tail light, all the same as the Himalayan 450. It still retains the "tank frame" look of the ICE version but has the battery and motor well-integrated. As a whole, it is purposeful, carrying an adventure touring bike with a rugged look and the aggressive styling of a rally bike.  Royal Enfield hasn't revealed any details on the prototype bike's battery size or motor capacity. However, it does confirm that the motor and battery are the same. It also uses electronic suspension for the Himalayan Electric 2.0.  The test bike has gold-coloured wire-spoke rims, a robust swingarm, and disc brakes at both the front and rear. The riding position is tall and upright, staying true to the typical adventure touring (ADV) style.  Royal Enfield has stated that the Himalayan Electric is still some time away. Based on market feedback, the company plans to release at least two more iterations before launching a production model. But an electric Himalayan sounds interesting, for sure. Before you leave, have a look at the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R Showcased. Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb  Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta  Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
