Yezdi revealed a few bikes, including one in a bright red colour scheme, likely the upcoming Yezdi Roadking. Although earlier confirmed to be distinct from existing models, the Roadking shares the same 334cc engine. A video from the event suggests the new Yezdi motorcycle is poised for an imminent launch in India.
Moreover, this Yezdi bike will give tough competition to the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 which is priced at Rs. 1.50 to 1.75 Lakh. The Yezdi revealed bike will likely to be more expensive than its rival with an expected price of Rs. 2 Lakh in India.
The new Yezdi bike comes with LED indicators and an expected LED round headlight. Its twin-pod analogue instrument cluster suggests a digital inset indicated by toggle buttons on the left switchgear.
The retro roadster features a wide handlebar, spacious single-piece seat, and mid-set footpegs for an upright riding position. Moreover, Yezdi revealed that it has a telescopic fork with fork gaiters and a monoshock. Additionally, it offers luggage hooks under the rear seat and alloy wheels equipped with Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres.
The design of this Yezdi bike is inspired by retro styling cues. Its fuel tank resembles that of the Yezdi Adventure model but with some differences. This bike also gets a traditional round headlamp decorating the front, enhancing its classic appeal.
This Yezdi bike has a square-shaped fuel tank with grips on the sides. Its side panels are plain and display the Yezdi logo. It's painted in vintage red with blue stripes. Its chunky upswept exhaust contributes to its vintage charm.
Seating is provided by a single-piece seat, complemented by an extended rear fender for aesthetic purposes. Moreover, the presence of features like an engine bash guard suggests a blend of off-road capability and road-oriented design elements. These features include alloy wheels, retro-style Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres, and a low front mudguard.
The new Yezdi bike lacks essential road-going features like a taillights, rear indicators, and saree guards indicate, which are typically easy to install but important for road legality.
