Updated 2023 Honda SP 125 is Here - What to Expect!

The Honda SP 125 has an all-new design and updates with a starting price of Rs. 85,131 Ex-showroom in India. It came up with an OBD-2-compliant engine with the two variations available. Engine Specifications for 2023 Honda SP 125

It has been confirmed that there has been no change in the 125cc air-cooled engine of the 2023 Honda SP125. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox generating 10.72 hp of power @ 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 10.9 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The engine gets fuel injection, ESP and ACG starter motor for a silent and jerk-free starting procedure. At the same time, Honda has now replaced the fuel pump outside the fuel tank. This has been done for easy access and a reduction in maintenance time. To ensure that it matches with the BS6 phase 2 standards, which need the installation of an OBD2 configuration, Honda has made a few minor internal alterations.

Features Available in 2023 Honda SP 125

In terms of features, the Honda SP125 gets an LED headlamp, engine start/stop switch, integrated headlamp beam and passing switch, side stand cut-off and a digital instrument cluster. There is also a digital instrument cluster which also gets average fuel efficiency, real-time fuel efficiency, and ECO indicator.

Hardware Specifications for Honda SP 125

The Braking systems of the SP125 get 240 mm disc or 130 mm drum at the front. It has a 130mm drum brake at the rear. The rear tire of the SP125 is now wider as it measures 100/10. The motorcycle uses alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. Suspensions are handled by telescopic forks at the front and hydraulic shockers at the rear with 5-step end stability.

The design of the 2023 Honda SP 125 is quite modern, which makes it look great. The SP 125 gets new graphics and an LED headlamp at the front. The Honda SP125 gets five colour options - Black, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue and a new Matte Marvel Blue Metallic.

Price and Variants

The 2023 Honda SP 125 gets two variants - drum and disc. The drum variant costs Rs 85,131, while the disc variant costs Rs 89,131. Both the prices are ex-showroom prices in India.
