Upcoming: 2023 Yamaha Fascino, RayZR OBD-II: Everything to Look-Out For

Yamaha Motor India had been hard at work, working on upgrading its entire motorcycle portfolio. At its recent event, where the brand launched the MT-15, FZ-S, YZF-R15, and FZ-X, it also gave an insight into the future of Yamaha. Yamaha is expected to launch an updated variant of its Fascino very soon. While it has yet to provide us with more details on the same, the type approval certificate, however, gave us a little insight into its specs and more.

2023 Yamaha Ray ZR & Fascino: Specifications

The document released shows 3 models - Cygnus Ray ZR, Cygnus Ray ZR Street Rally, and Fascino S. All the models will come with a 125cc, single-cylinder motor equipped with an onboard diagnostics (OBD-II) system. The system will monitor the emission levels in real time. The new engine will generate a maximum output of 8 bhp @ 6,500 rpm, giving users a rather smooth drive-off experience. 

2023 Yamaha Ray ZR & Fascino: Styling and Features

The corporation may also change the list of options and the colour scheme. However, the scooters will retain their respective outgoing models' styling elements while the design is left untouched. Additionally, the feature list should not alter. Thus, Bluetooth connectivity and LED illumination should be kept in the 2023 range.

2023 Yamaha Ray ZR & Fascino: Expected Prices

The new models might cost slightly more than the earlier iterations. Nevertheless, we do not anticipate a significant change in the ex-showroom price tags. The Ray ZR and Ray ZR Street Rally are now priced at Rs 82,230 and Rs 91,030, respectively, while the Fascino 125 starts at Rs 77,100.
