BGauss recently announced the launch of a new electric scooter in the Indian market. The first look at the upcoming BGauss RUV350 scooter reveals that it has the largest alloy wheels of all-electric scooters available. The expected price of the BGauss RUV350 is around Rs. 1.30 to 1.40 lakh. This new electric scooter is set to give tough competition to the TVS iQube priced at Rs. 97,307 and Rs. 1.85 lakh. However, choosing the right scooter for your daily commute depends on a variety of factors.
Let’s learn which scooter is ideal for your daily commute: the TVS iQube or the BGuass RUV350.
TVS iQube and BGauss RUV350 have unique designs for different needs. The TVS iQube has a modern look that appeals to a wide audience with simple yet elegant touches. It has a lightweight and compact frame for easy handling around town and ease of use.
The BGauss RUV350, in contrast, emphasises durability and functionality. Its all-metal body guarantees low maintenance costs and longevity. A hexagonal headlight with DRL is a feature of this electric scooter. It is also appropriate for difficult terrain and goods because of its big floorboards and steel construction. It features one-piece seats, underseat storage, big wheels for a steady ride, and a simple but practical design.
TVS iQube electric scooter comes with a 2.2 kWh battery. This high-powered battery generates 140 Nm of torque which offers better acceleration. It has a range of 75 Km per charge. Moreover, the battery takes 5 hours to charge fully.
On the other hand, BGauss RUV350 is likely to offer more than 100 km on a single charge. Its specifications have not yet been revealed, but it will give tough competition to other EVs available in the market.
The TVS iQube has powerful disc and drum brakes for maximum control. It features a 220 mm front brake and a 130 mm rear brake. The front suspension is telescopic, and the rear has a hydraulic twin shock absorber, ensuring a smooth ride even on rough terrains. It also boasts a five-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, OTA updates, navigation, call/SMS alerts, park assistance, and more. There are two ride modes, Economy and Power, plus geo-fencing, anti-theft alerts, crash alerts, and a USB charging port.
The upcoming BGauss RUV350 is shown in teasers with all-LED lights, a large floorboard, a single-piece seat, and a digital console. It has a telescopic fork at the front and a single rear shock. Moreover, the braking is managed by drum brakes on both ends. It features 16-inch alloy wheels, an apron-mounted utility hook, and limited underseat storage due to the battery placement.
Apart from this, Ather Rizta will also give a tough competition to BGauss RUV350. Don’t forget to check out Rizta’s first scooter, which has been rolled out of production.
