TVS will have busy months in August and September as it will undergo several launches. The upcoming streetfighter TVS Apache RTR 310 spied again recently, so its launch could be expected sooner. It indicates some new details about the bike.
In addition to the eagerly awaited launch of a new scooter on August 23, TVS has exciting plans with another highly anticipated launch on September 6. The teaser provides fascinating clues, with coordinates pointing to Thailand's Democracy Monument in Bangkok.
The hashtag "RestlessTo Play" appears to be an enticing clue pointing toward the highly anticipated TVS Apache RTR 310. It is poised to take centre stage in the upcoming launch on September 6. It is much like the Apache RR 310, featuring adaptable levers and directional buttons connected with the left switchgear.
The sleek alloy wheels are distinct from those seen on the RR 310. The streetfighter has an aggressive yet sleek headlight assembly that reminds of the headlight design of the Kawasaki Z1000. Surprisingly, the radiator contains ducts that direct heat away from the rider's legs.
The new streetfighter model stands out with its sharp and aggressive street-naked appearance. It takes inspiration from the popular 310cc platform, a joint venture between TVS and BMW.
The TVS Apache RTR 310 has multiple noteworthy features that are bound to capture the attention of motorcycle enthusiasts and riders. One of the standout features is its split-seat arrangement and equally striking split grab rails. It includes rear-set footpegs that aligns perfectly with the sporty riding posture that the TVS Apache RTR 310 will offer.
The new streetfighter model stands out with its sharp and aggressive street-naked appearance. It takes inspiration from the popular 310cc platform, a joint venture between TVS and BMW. The presence of a powerful muscular fuel tank emphasises the distinctive appearance. Another striking visual feature that sets the TVS Apache RTR 310 apart is its eccentric LED taillight.
The bike, which appeared in another series of spy photos a few weeks after the initial one, has given us more information about its design features. The Apache RTR 310 has a floating licence plate holder, rear indicators, and a massive exhaust system. It resembles its predecessors, such as BMW G 310 R, Apache RR 310, and BMW G 310 GS.
The horizontally positioned digital console (presumably a TFT unit with connectivity) differs from the vertical one on the supersport equivalent. It has a USD fork (unlikely to be adjustable) and a preload-adjustable monoshock configuration. This system complements the dual-channel ABS-equipped dual-disc brakes.
The same 312.7cc reverse-inclined single-cylinder engine will power the Apache RTR 310. A similar engine also powers the Apache RR 310, BMW G 310 R, and BMW G 310 GS, producing 34PS power and 27.3Nm of torque.
On September 6, the forthcoming TVS Apache RTR 310 will be available at around Rs 2.5 lakh (Ex-showroom). The KTM 390 Duke, Triumph Speed 400, BMW G 310 R, and Honda CB300R will be its competitors.
