Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Aragon Edition to Debut in 2023

According to patent applications made in Australia, Triumph appears to be releasing a Race Aragon Edition to its Tiger 900 Rally & GT bikes after having a terrific time at the 2022 Baja de Aragon rally. Ivan Cervantes, a five-time enduro World Champion, won the newly constructed trail class in the Baja de Aragon rally.

The filing states that Triumph will handle the Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally Pro differently. For the two limited-edition trims, it's anticipated that the same slate, silver, & High-Viz yellow livery that decorated Cervantes' victorious horse would be utilized. However, both models will have a lot of similarities with the normal Rally Pro and GT.

Triumph's liquid-cooled, 12-valve, DOHC, 888cc inline triple will power the two. This indicates that the engine has a remaining capacity of 93.9 horsepower and 64 lb-ft of torque. The Rally Pro will maintain its dirt-oriented 21-inch wire-spoke front wheel, while the GT will maintain its 19-inch front & 17-inch rear cast hoops. But the scales distinctly distinguish between the Aragón Editions and regular models. Moreover, given that both limited-edition versions will weigh more than their standard counterparts, extra Triumph accessories will likely enhance the off-road capabilities of the GT and Rally Pro.

The vehicle identifying number for the Aragón Editions indicates that Triumph will release the motorcycles in 2023.

It is unknown whether the commemorative Triumph Tiger 900s will be sold in the United States. The Tiger 900 Rally Aragon Edition has a weight of 214 kg (472 pounds), which is approximately 7 pounds heavier than the Tiger 900 Rally Pro.

The homologated tare weight of the Tiger 900 GT Pro is 4 pounds less than the Tiger 900 GT Aragon Edition's claimed weight of 210 kg (463 pounds). However, we are left to presume that the Aragon Edition bikes come with extra accessories from Triumph's catalog because the increased weight needs to be specified in the documentation.
