Triumph's Thruxton Final Edition marks the grand farewell of their iconic cafe racer. The bike is powered by a powerful liquid-cooled 1200cc parallel-twin engine, churning out an impressive 105 bhp and 112Nm outputs. Built on the top-of-the-line RS variant, this model is most potent in the Bonneville series. So, wondering what else this ultimate Thruxton has in store for its customers?
First and foremost, the mechanics of a bike is what matters the most. Well, in terms of mechanics, the bike is similar to the Thruxton RS. Therefore, you get top-notch hardware, including a fully adjustable Showa Big Piston Fork & twin Ohlins shocks. Additionally, Brembo has supplied the braking hardware, which is twin M50 callipers of 310 mm rotors at the front. The tyres, Metzeler Racetec RRs, similar to the Speed Triple 1200 RS, provide an excellent grip. In addition to grip, the tyres are wrapped around beautiful tubeless wire-spoke rims.
Featuring a hand-painted ‘heritage’ Triumph logo, the Final Edition is finished in a deep metallic shade - ‘Competition Green’. The golden accents on the tank & the rear seat cowl are hand-painted, featuring the artist’s initials. Notably, Triumph intends to provide a special Final Edition engine badge with gold infills and each bike. The company claims it to be a ‘great display piece’.
