The New 2023 KTM RC 390 OBD-2 Available in Two Colour Options in India

The launch of the 2023 KTM RC 390 model in the market has been announced by KTM India. The most recent motorbike updates are compliant with the recent emission standards. The 2023 RC 390, comes up with the onboard diagnostic system while keeping all the features and specifications as the previous model.

Colour Options Available

The motorbike is available in two colours KTM Factory Racing Blue and KTM Electronic Orange. The sub-frame is painted orange to match the KTM Factory Racing Blue colour scheme, but the chassis and alloy wheels in both colour schemes remain coated in black. Both paint options have similar graphics, while the fuel tank and fairing of the 2023 model continue to have a 'KTM' decal. On the fairing and fuel tank, respectively, there is also a 'RC 390' symbol and a 'KTM' logo.

Design & Style

The 2023 KTM RC 390 has the same stylistic characteristics as the previous model, including a single-pod headlamp, a full-fairing design, a 13.7-litre fuel tank, a clip-on handlebar, split-style seating, a side-slung exhaust, and 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends. Similar to the 2022 model, the mechanical specifications employ a 373 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine with Bosch electronic fuel injection. This motor continues to produce the maximum power of 32 kW at 9,000 rpm and max torque of 37 Nm at 7,000 rpm as the 2022 model when connected to a six-speed transmission.

Price & Competition in the Market

With only one option and a price of Rs. 3,18,173, the 2023 KTM RC 390 is slightly more expensive than the 2022 model. In the Indian market, this motorbike competes with models like the TVS Apache RR 310 and Kawasaki Ninja 300. The Yamaha YZF-R3, which is expected to enter our market soon, will increase the level of competitiveness. Currently, a number of Yamaha Motor India dealers have already started making unauthorised reservations for the YZF-R3.
