The country's leading two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj (Bajaj) and Britain's leading two-wheeler manufacturer Triumph Motorcycles (Triumph Motorcycles) announced a partnership in 2017. Under this partnership, it was announced that they would develop a premium mid-capacity motorcycle for the Indian market. The Upcoming Bajaj Triumph bike is still needed to be named. Various names were filed as a trademark for their upcoming bikes.
The upcoming bike will be an adventure motorcycle based on Triumph's 660cc platform. The best chances are that the naked roadster could be named as Triumph street tracker. It is important to remember that Triumph has a history of giving their bikes meaningful names. For instance, the Tiger is an adventure bike, whereas the Street Triple is a naked roadster. So it's probable that the future naked roadster will be called the Street Tracker. Triumph Motorcycles has been busy registering trademarks for its forthcoming bikes, and the Street Tracker is one of the names that caught our eye. Although Triumph has not yet used this term, it may eventually be used for the Bajaj-Triumph naked roadster.
The word "Street Tracker", where the term "street" suggests that the motorcycle could be road-focused. Triumph's current classic line no longer bears the Street designation, thus only an entirely new motorcycle line or a variation based on the Street line can use the name.
Triumph Motorcycles has registered many names for its prospective models, including Adventurer, which may refer to an adventure motorbike built on the 660 cc Triumph chassis.
But the Street Tracker trademark is what has our attention. The Triumph Street Tracker might be the name of the next Bajaj-Triumph naked roadster. All the trademarks that are patented by triumph in the Global market, one name that is making the impact is Street Tracker. As this name has never been used by the Triumph and could be the official name of the Bajaj-Triumph bike. The only receivers of the name may be a whole new range of bikes or a variation based on the Street Triple line, considering that Triumph has removed the Street label from the current classic range.
We are aware that Bajaj and Triumph are developing two bikes with various engine sizes: a street naked roadster and a scrambler. And we think the street-legal version of the roadster would be dubbed the Street Scrambler, while the bare-bones variant might be called the Triumph Street Tracker. The Bajaj-Triumph motorcycles are expected to debut in India in the fourth quarter of 2023.They are now in the final phases of testing and development. Whatever the official name, we do know that there will likely be two engine sizes available for the Bajaj Triumph bikes: 250 cc and 400 cc. Additionally, based on our sources, Triumph will introduce the 400 cc in India first before introducing the 250 cc. These brand-new Bajaj Triumph motorcycles are now in the testing and development phase and are anticipated to be on sale in India in the fourth quarter of 2023.
In conclusion, rumors about the impending Bajaj-Triumph naked roadster have been generated by the Street Tracker trademark application made by Triumph. We are excited to see what Triumph has in store for us with its new motorcycles, even though this is just our perspective.
