The scooter comes in two different variants with a price of Rs 92,000. In addition, the Race Edition variant can be purchased for Rs 92,300.
The Indian market has introduced the 2023 Suzuki Avenis, which complies with OBD2-A and is priced at Rs 92,000 onwards. This 125cc scooter competes with the TVS Ntorq 125. Further, it is offered in two variants: the Standard and Race Edition. The only distinction between these two models is their respective paint schemes, as there are no other differences.
There are four colour options available for the standard model. The colour options include Pearl Mirage White with Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey, Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey with Metallic Lush Green, Pearl Blaze Orange with Glass Sparkle Black, and Metallic Matte Black with Glass Sparkle Black.
Meanwhile, the Race Edition is available in a single paint scheme: Metallic Sonic Silver with Metallic Triton Blue. Additionally, this variant has a MotoGP-inspired livery that enhances the sporty appearance of the scooter.
The prices for each variant are listed below for your convenience.
Variants of Avenis 125 | Ex-showroom Prices |
---|---|
Standard | Rs 92,000 |
Race Edition | Rs 92,300 |
It's worth noting that the paint options do not influence the ex-showroom prices of the Avenis 125. As a result, all the paint options for the standard variant are priced at Rs 92,000. On the other hand, the Race Edition, available only in one paint option, is priced at Rs 92,300.
Both variants feature an apron-mounted headlight, tall-set front turn indicators, sharp body panels, side-slung exhaust, and a two-piece pillion grabrail. These styling cues are present across both variants.
Both variants share the same mechanical specifications, which include a 124 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine matching the BS6 variant. This engine is calibrated to produce a maximum power output of 8.5 bhp at 6,750 rpm and a peak torque of 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
However, launched in 2023, the Avenis will be fitted with an On-board Diagnostics System to detect and indicate any faults in the vehicle's system.
Suzuki Avenis has multiple competitors in the Indian market. The Suzuki Avenis competes with several other models, including the TVS Ntorq 125, Honda Grazia, Hero Maestro Edge 125, and Yamaha Ray ZR.
