Suzuki has surprised bike enthusiasts with the launch of its 25th Anniversary Edition Hayabusa in the UK. This special model comes with some unique upgrades compared to the standard model. Let's dive into all the exciting details about this new edition!
The bike model from the Japanese 2-wheeler brand has a new colour scheme- Glass Blaze Orange or Glass Sparkle Black. This colour option is a 2-tone theme that covers the Hayabusa in a contrasting scheme of black & orange.
Additionally, Suzuki has also added a logo on the fuel tank, between the tank lid & the handlebar to differentiate it from the standard model. Well, the laser-etched logo on the exhaust mufflers is another distinction added to the new model.
Suzuki has used golden-finished brake disc carriers & chain adjusters to elevate the bike’s appearance. Overall, apart from these updates, the special edition has the same mechanics & features as the standard model.
25th Anniversary Edition Hayabusa is powered by a 1340cc inline 4-cylinder engine, producing 190 bhp & 142 Nm outputs. The 4-cylinder engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Speaking of features, the 25th Anniversary Edition Hayabusa is equipped with LED illumination, launch control, active speed limiter, hill hold, cruise control & ABS. The bike also features USD front forks & a monoshock suspension system. The bike’s braking hardware comprises dual front & single rear disc brakes with ABS.
The Suzuki Hayabusa is currently offered only in the standard model in India, costing Rs 16.90 Lakhs. However, we are expecting a price hike once they launch the 25th Anniversary Edition Hayabusa in India. The bike has no direct rivals in the current Indian 2-wheeler market, though.
