Suzuki Achieved a Production Milestone in India after the 7 Millionth Unit Rolled Out

Suzuki Motorcycle India achieved a major milestone in production by rolling out its 7 millionth unit. The celebratory unit was the Suzuki V-Strom SX motorbike. The bike was rolled out from the company's Kherki Dhaula plant in Gurugram. The colour of the motorcycle featured a vibrant Champion Yellow No.2 colour scheme. This milestone was achieved after 17 years when the company started its operations in India.

Products Available

Suzuki's Indian portfolio currently includes products such as the V-Strom SX, Gixxer SF, Gixxer SF 250, Gixxer 250, Gixxer, Access 125, Avenis, Burgman Street and Burgman Street EX. The company also has some bigger bikes in its portfolio, which include Suzuki Hayabusa, V-Strom 650XT and Katana.

The company says that it is looking forward to continuing its sales growth in the country. Kenichi

Sales Report

The firm reported record sales of 9.38 lakh units for the fiscal year that ended in March 2023, increasing 24.3% from the prior year. The business claims that the rise in sales figures is evidence of rising demand for its two-wheelers in both local and international markets.

With the introduction of the V-Strom SX during the previous fiscal year, the business also joined the 250 cc adventure sports category. The bike is renowned for its adaptability and was made for riding on tough terrains, long distances, and everyday commuting.

Design

The bike is based on the design concept of 'toughness in a slender shell', giving it a tough, adventure-inspired look. Its slim shell accentuates the motorcycle's slim exterior and compact engine wrapped in a 'protector-like' shell. The chassis is completely round and forms the backbone of the V-Strom SX.
