Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition Revealed, Priced at Rs. 4.25 Lakhs

Royal Enfield surprised bike enthusiasts with the revelation of the new Shotgun 650. This was the company’s biggest news for its huge customer base at Motoverse 2023 in Goa. Notably, this bike model will be limited to 25 units only, priced at Rs. 4.25 Lakhs. Only the 25 lucky customers will be able to buy this 21st edition shotgun. The production version of the Shotgun 650 will be more affordable and will be available in Europe and India.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Specs

As for the performance, this bike will be powered by the 649cc, air/oil-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine, producing 47 bhp & 52 Nm torque. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox, this engine will be similar to other 650s in RE’s line-up. However, the brand has made slight changes to the tuning of this motor for the Shotgun to match its reputation.

Speaking of its mechanics, the Shotgun 650 will share its main chassis with the Super Meteor 650. However, Shotgun 650 will get several changes, including the overall geometry & different wheels. In addition, the ergonomics offered by the Shotgun will be different from the other 650 models. 

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Design

The new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is a new motorcycle based on the SG650 concept that was revealed at the 2021 EICMA show in Milan. The custom-designed, hand-painted body panels with gradient-style graphics & neon detailing make the Motoverse edition of the bike special. The Shotgun 650 is called a neo-retro roadster. However, the single-seat version makes it look more like a bobber. Nonetheless, an optional pillion seat will also be available for those who want to carry a passenger.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Deliveries

The Royal Enfield will start the deliveries for the Shotgun 650 Motoverse edition in January 2024, followed by the debut of its production model in Europe & India.
