Ola Electric has recently decided to reduce the prices of its scooters. The cheapest scooter, the Ola S1X, has seen a decrease of 12.5%. Presently, the 4 kWh version of the S1X is priced at Rs 99,999, slased from its price of Rs 1,09,999 in India.
The 3 kWh model now costs Rs 84,999 compared to its price of Rs 89,999, while the 2 kWh variant has been reduced from Rs 79,999 to Rs 69,999. This step is intended to make electric scooters more accessible and encourage a number of individuals to invest in them.
Ola Electric aims to drive sales and promote the adoption of mobility in India. Interested customers can now place pre-orders for the S1 X+, S1 Air, and S1 Pro models. Moreover, deliveries will commence on June 14.
The EMPS scheme, initiated by the government to replace FAME II, provides subsidies of up to Rs 10,000 per scooter with the goal of promoting the adoption of electric vehicles while sustaining sales growth.
Ola Electric has secured a 35% market share amidst competition, beating competitors like TVS and Ather. This achievement reflects Ola Electric's dedication to offering accessible options in the market.

The Ola S1 X electric scooters come in three variants and 7 attractive colour options. The scooters feature Eco, Normal, and Sports modes, with different mileage ranges.
The 2 kWh and 3 kWh variants come with a portable 500W charger. Moreover, the 4 kWh model offers a faster 700W charger. All variants have a tubular and sheet metal frame with twin telescoping suspension and steel wheels.
They also include smart features like side stand alert, reverse mode, OTA update, predictive maintenance, and cruise control. Additionally, the scooters can be controlled via the Ola Electric app, which offers keyless unlock for added convenience.
It offers 34 litres of boot space. They feature a 4.3-inch segmented LCD screen and LED head and tail lamps, and they are the first EVs from Ola to support a physical key. Ola also provides a battery warranty of up to 8 years or 80,000 km, ensuring reliability and longevity for users.
