Ola S1 & Ola S1 Air Multiple Variants Launches In India: Here Are All The Details On Them

In India, Ola Electric just released new variations to its current Ola S1 and S1 Air portfolio. There are three new trims and three new battery pack choices for both the S1 and the Ola S1 Air. They will also vary in terms of top speed and range. 

Previously, the base S1 Air model had a 2.5 kWh battery pack and a 101-kilometre range (IDC). Buyers had to pay Rs 84,999 in order to obtain the S1 Air (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The new Ola S1 Air starts with a fresh 2kWh battery following the modifications. Customers may now acquire the S1 Air (2kWh), which is less potent, at the same price of Rs 84,999. On the other hand, the entry-level Ola S1 model will cost Rs 99,999 when it becomes available (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). Similar to the S1 Air, the Ola S1 also comes standard with a 2kWh (short-range) battery pack option. However, when it comes to a single-sided fork and mono-shock, larger tyres, alloy wheels, and other features, the S1 Air and S1 can be distinguished from one another.

Ola S1: Price, Variants, Features

The Ola S1 is additionally offered in three new trims with three different battery back options: 2kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh. The base S1 (2kWh) model costs Rs 99,999. While the top-of-the-line 4kWh (S1 Pro) is available for Rs 1.30 lakh, the 3kWh is priced at Rs 1.09 lakh. Prices are all ex-showroom from Bengaluru.

In contrast to the Ola S1 Air, the Ola S1's base trim is said to have an IDC range of 91 kilometres on a single charge. The S1 will have a range of 141 km for the 3 kWh and 181 km for the 4 kWh versions. Despite having the same 8.5kW motor, each of the three variations has a different top speed. According to claims, the base model's top speed is 90 km/h. 

Ola S1 has MoveOS 3.0 connection, a 7.0-inch touchscreen display, on-the-go music, on-screen navigation, customised widgets, and other features. The scooter will have Normal, Eco, and Sports riding modes available for the entry-level and mid-range trims. But in addition to the "Hyper Mode," the top-of-the-line S1 Pro will also offer all three riding modes. In addition, various colour options for the Ola S1 will be available, including Liquid Silver, Gerua, Porcelain White, Millennial Pink, Matt Black, Coral Glam, Marshmallow, Jet Black, and more.

Ola S1 Air: Price, Variants, Features

The Ola S1 Air's battery pack options begin with a 2kWh option, followed by 3kWh and 4kWh variations. The cost of the entry-level S1 Air is Rs 84,999, the mid-range 3kWh model is Rs 99,999, and the top-tier 4kWh model is Rs 1.09 lakh. Everything is priced ex-showroom in Bengaluru.

The 2kWh model is the entry-level electric scooter offered by Ola. The S1 Air's 85-kilometre range is a result of its smallest battery size. In contrast, the range of the 3kWh and 4kWh models will be 125 km and 165 km, respectively. All three models, however, will share a 4.5 kW motor and a top speed of 85 km/h. Therefore, in around 4.5 hours, the scooter may be fully charged.

In terms of functionality, the Ola S1 Air comes with MoveOS 3.0 and a 7.0-inch touchscreen display. A 7.0-inch touchscreen display with OTA updates, music playback, Bluetooth connectivity, remote boot lock/unlock, GPS, and other features are included with the electric scooter. In addition, it contains a reverse mode and a side stand alert in addition to standard riding modes (Normal, Sports, and Eco).

The Ola S1 Air features a grab rail, a flat footboard, standard telescopic front forks, twin shock absorbers in the back, and drum brakes. The scooter's five dual-tone body colour options are Porcelain White, Liquid Silver, Jet Black, Neo Mint, and Coral Glam.
