Ola Move OS 3.0 Rolls Out Free Upgrades with 50 New Features

Ola Electric Scooters officially rolled out its new Move OS3.0 software update in the Indian market. This is Ola's third major software update, adding over 50 features and improvements to the Ola S1 Pro and Ola S1 electric scooters. This update will reach all its customers within a week.

On 22 December 2022, Ola Bikes officially launched India's highly anticipated Move OS3.0 software update. Ola Electric has included a tonne of new features with the most recent Move OS 3 software update that will probably improve the user experience.

Ola Scooter Electric has constantly supported the ecology surrounding their S1 scooter. The company makes significant modifications and unlocks better performance, range, and new features through software updates. Move OS 3 is the most recent of these software revisions. There are occasional delays, yes, but what matters is delivery.

For instance, Move OS 2.0 experienced numerous delays, and Move OS 3 was planned to debut around Diwali, as previously hinted. However, Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO of Ola, made several new feature promises, and the firm has largely followed through. So let's look at it.

Ola Electric is one of India's top producers of electric scooters right now, offering the Ola Electric scooter S1 pro, S1 Air, and S1. The business even has ambitions to introduce electric automobiles and motorcycles shortly. Over 1 lakh users may now unlock as many as 50 new features with Ola's Move OS 3 software upgrade.

Hill hold, moods, regen V2, proximity unlock, key sharing, calling, supercharging, and many other features were among those that were promised. Unfortunately, Hill Hold is currently in the beta stage and has yet to be included in Ola Move OS 3's final release, which was made available for consensus. However, Ola asserts superior performance and range in addition to these features.

Its 0-60 km/h run is cut by 0.5 seconds thanks to the latest software update. It now just requires 4.5 seconds as opposed to the previous 5 seconds. Other improvements to performance include Hypercharging compatibility, which enables Ola scooters to travel 50 km in just 15 minutes. In addition, thanks to improved torque mapping and charging algorithms, users now have a 2% to 5% better range.

In Sports mode and Hyper mode, performance is increased by 20% and 10%, respectively in the Ola scooter models. Prior to this increase, Eco mode's top speed was capped at 40 km/h. In addition, with the multiple-user functionality, each user can have their preferences, and proximity lock and unlock allow locking and unlocking when the key is nearby.

Added Features

Users can use danger lights, wifi, call notifications, critical papers like DLs, insurance copies, and the like that can be stored and displayed on digital displays. In addition, the Vintage, Bolt, and Eclipse moods have been added to Ola Move OS 3. Moods are essentially switchable themes. Each of them receives a unique motor sound, charging sound, and lock and unlock sound.

Other new features include Party mode and Vacation mode, which, when used, will delay deep discharge for 200 days. In relation to that, the Party mode is completely frivolous. It synchronises lights and merges them with music to create a distinctive ambience. Similar features may be found in the Tesla Model X, which also features Gullwing doors.

Ola Electric's current product line includes the S1 Air, S1, and S1 Pro. Prices for the S1 Air start at Rs. 84,999, the S1 costs Rs. 99,999, and the top-of-the-line S1 Pro costs Rs. 1,39,000. For easy charging, Ola has established its Hypercharging network in a few places.
