The RSS Street 125 is a new product from Lexmoto, a small-size motorbike company headquartered in the UK. It competes with motorcycles like the Yamaha XSR125 and Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 thanks to its cool neo-retro appearance and 125cc displacement.
The RSS Street 125's unique design stands out the most. It has a tiny round headlight up front, encircled by an aluminium-finished bezel, and a tiny flyscreen on top. The oblong fuel tank provides the bulk of the vehicle's apparent heft, which integrates well with the simple, flat tail portion. Alloy wheels and an engine case painted in black give it a touch of visual modernism.
Although the colour TFT instrument display and full-LED lights are amazing, there aren't any more features worth mentioning. It has a compact, liquid-cooled 125cc engine that generates about 14 bhp and is connected to a 6-speed transmission, making it a beginner-friendly motorbike. The hardware package includes a single disc at either end, 17-inch wheels, telescopic forks, and a mono-shock.
With an expected retail price of £2,900 (approximately Rs 2.94 lakh), Lexmoto has released the RSS Street 125 in the UK in two colours: Crimson Red and Tuscany Yellow. However, even though Lexmoto won't be coming to India anytime soon, people looking for a performance-focused 125cc motorbike should consider the KTM 125 Duke.
