The Hero-Harley cooperation covers a wide range of activities, including Hero's sales and service of Harley Davidson motorbikes in India, the growth of Harley's network, tech partnerships, and the creation of new platforms and motorcycles. The middleweight market, which is presently dominated by Royal Enfield, is where the first of the new Hero-Harley bikes are most likely to find success.

The middleweight market also features Honda, Jawa, Yezdi, Keeway, and QJ Motor as competitors. Future competitors to Royal Enfield's dominance are anticipated to include companies like Triumph and Bajaj.

Niranjan Gupta, CFO at Hero MotoCorp, announced the creation of new Hero-Harley bikes in November. Two motorcycles have now been shown off to select dealers and people. One of these bikes is a cruiser that resembles the 338R concept bike that was first unveiled in 2019 as a drawing. The second bike has a single-cylinder street motorbike engine.

At a customer clinic, bikes from the Hero-Harley line were displayed. It looks like Hero was soliciting feedback on the new motorcycles' design and features, viability, cost, and other things. Having some comments from those in attendance was also beneficial. Before the bikes are introduced in India, the manufacturer will find these suggestions helpful.

Hero Harley 350cc Features Leak

More information about the future Hero-Harley 350cc motorcycle is now available thanks to new leaks. According to this leak, it will have the model name X350RA and a 353 cc single-cylinder engine. With a 23 PS power output, it will be more potent than 350cc Royal Enfield models, including the Classic, Hunter, Meteor, and Bullet. 20 PS and 27 Nm of power and torque are delivered by RE 350cc motorcycles.

Hero-Harley bicycles can potentially be a serious rival to Royal Enfield models. They won't frequently be classified as commuters, and Hero can guarantee the lowest prices. One of the main factors contributing to Royal Enfield bikes' success in the home and foreign markets is their competitive pricing.

It is applicable to all models, including 350cc, 410cc, and 650cc motorcycles. Hero, the leading two-wheeler manufacturer in India, may collaborate with its partners and suppliers to present enthusiasts with an unbeatable price.

Focus on EVs

Hero MotoCorp focuses mostly on ICE-based bikes and scooters, but it has also intensified its efforts in the electric vehicle market. Hero has teamed with Ather Energy, and Gogoro in the EV industry, much like Harley-Davidson does. Additionally, investments up to US$ 60 million have been set aside for California-based Zero Motorcycles. These partnerships will hasten the creation of new goods and the growth of the charging infrastructure.

The Vida, Hero's first electric scooter, is currently on sale in Delhi, Jaipur, and Bengaluru. There are two options available: V1 Plus and V1 Pro. Both ranges are 143 km and 165 km. Both vehicles' top speeds are electronically capped at 80 kmph.
