Jawa recently launched 42 2.1, roadster edition in north-east India to pay special tribute to India’s most beautiful destinations.
It is based on the 2021 Allstar Black model, but among other changes for that Himalayan vibe, it has a cool "Tawang Edition'' insignia engraved in Buddhist writing on the tank. But that's not all; Jawa will produce just 100, and they will only be distributed to people living in Arunachal Pradesh and the neighbouring areas.
The limited-edition bicycle is designed after the fabled "Lungta," a wind horse that stands for luck and prosperity. The Lungta design is also seen on the motorcycle's fuel tank and front fender. Purchasing this bike will be even more special because each of the 100 bikes in this limited edition model will feature a lovely medallion with a specific number.
However, in terms of mechanics, nothing has changed. Its 293cc liquid-cooled engine continues to put out 27.33 bhp and 26.84 Nm torque. Single discs are used for braking at either end, and twin shocks and a telescopic fork support the bike.
Surprisingly, the standard Jawa 42 costs Rs. 1,94,142 in Arunachal Pradesh, whereas this special version costs Rs. 20,000 extra (ex-showroom Delhi). Therefore, if any Arunachal Pradesh citizens are interested in getting their hands on one of these, we recommend making a reservation as quickly as possible. Online reservations cost Rs 5,000. (refundable).
