By the end of 2023, India will most likely see the release of Zontes's first 125cc maxi-scooter, the Zontes ZT125-M. This new, incoming scooter has the latest features and a futuristic style. A liquid-cooled engine now propels it. High hopes exist that Zontes will soon introduce it to India. Read on for more information on this high-performance scooter.
Features of the Zontes ZT125-M Maxi-Scooter
The ZT125-M has a maxi-scooter design because it is intended for international markets. Nonetheless, it includes cutting-edge design features like creases and sharp edges in its panels. Also, the LED lights, such as the DRLs, make it appear even more attractive. As a result, its futuristic design, similar to that of the majority of other Zontes items, can be observed. An adjustable, adjustable, black windscreen is added to the hefty front. It also has striking black alloy wheels with disc brakes on both ends.
It has a large storage space in the rider's footwell because it is a maxi-scooter. The single seat is long and roomy enough to fit two people comfortably. Moreover, because of the flat footboard, it may also be used to transport luggage. Yet, its digital colour TFT display is the primary talking point. Animations on the digital display show important information. Keyless start/stop, two USB connections, and a tyre pressure monitoring system are additional features added to the ZT.
On the ZT, Zontes sports a 125cc single-cylinder high-compression engine. Its SOHC engine is liquid-cooled, though. Hence, the ZT produces power comparable to the Yamaha Aerox 155. It has a maximum output of 32.85 bhp and 32 Nm of torque. The ZT's kerb weight is high at 166kg, though. Further features include a telescoping front suspension, a 12-litre Petrol tank for long range, and 14-inch alloy wheels.
Conclusion
Adishwar auto Group is the distributor of Zontes in India. AARI also sells Benelli & Keeway in India, the two of its sister firms. So, we cannot dismiss the possibility that the ZT125-M will reach the Indian market. But, it is still far off, perhaps by the end of 2023. It will compete against the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 in India. It is anticipated to cost Rs. 1.25 lakh.
