Honda’s New H-Smart Feature is Almost Here: Everything You Need to Know!

Honda H-Smart feature: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced the arrival of a new feature with the release of a teaser on its social media channel. There are a few alternative possibilities, the formal details of which will be revealed on January 23, although there aren’t many details about the feature yet.

A teaser posted by Honda Scooters and Motorcycles India on social media hints that the company will soon introduce a new Honda technology - The h-Smart feature with its two-wheelers. However, the brand hasn’t given out a lot of information regarding the technology’s capabilities; the official announcement will be made public on January 23.

But based on our best assessment, the future H-Smart function is anticipated to improve fuel efficiency. Similar to Yamaha’s mild-hybrid system or Hero’s iSmart Start/Stop technology, which has been raising the bar for fuel efficiency. Honda is anticipated to offer this important technology as well.

The Honda PGM-Fi, also known as Programmed Fuel Injection, is a fuel-enhancing technology that Honda already has in place. In essence, this is a computer called a Programmed Control Module that keeps track of data from sensors installed inside the engine. The engine performance is then determined by these sensors, which also optimise fuel consumption based on demand.

Another option is that Honda’s smartphone voice control system, which is already included with the CB300F and CB350, will be the next H-Smart feature. Through the Honda app, this function provides Bluetooth interaction with the onboard digital dash. In addition, this app assists with turn-by-turn navigation and calls notification alerts.

Honda’s motorbike lineup is available in India, starting with the CD 110 Dream, Livo, CB Shine, SP 125, and Unicorn. The CB500X, Hornet 2.0, and XBlade are placed above these models. The Activa series, which comprises the Activa 125, Activa standard, and Activa Premium, is where the company’s scooter lineup gets started. Dio and Dio Sports sit above the Honda Activa range of scooters.
