Honda’s 750cc ADV Scooter Unlikely To Be Launched in India

Honda’s 2023 X-ADV 750 was unveiled recently. The scooter gets various new colour schemes. For now, the new 750cc is unlikely to be launched in India.

Honda has revealed the 2023 X-ADV for global markets. Further, it showcases the scooter's refreshed appearance with a range of new colour options. Furthermore, the updated new colour options include Matte Ballistic Black Metallic and Pearl Deep Mud Gray. These solid colours enhance the look of ADV by featuring understated logos and graphics.

In contrast, an ordinary White paint scheme features a white base colour accentuated by striking black and red highlights. Further, the colour combinations are accompanied by bold graphics which showcase the distinctive character of the scooter.

The Honda X-ADV persona is further emphasised by its interesting features and specifications. These specifications include spoke wheels, upside-down front forks, a tall windscreen, and an engine sump guard.

Further, the engine of this ADV scooter is Equally noteworthy. The new ADV is equipped with a 745 cc, twin-cylinder engine that delivers 57 bhp of power accompanied by 69 Nm of torque. Further, the engine is paired with a Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) similar to that of the Honda Africa Twin.

The scooter boasts an impressive array of features, including a Bluetooth-enabled five-inch TFT display, smart key, Honda Smartphone Voice Control, and full-LED lighting. Additionally, it offers a generous 22-litre under-seat storage capacity, a USB charging port, a 1.2-litre glovebox, and a centre stand for added convenience.

Despite being a fascinating scooter, it is doubtful that the Honda X-ADV will be introduced in India. The main factor behind the thought is mainly due to the absence of a market for such products in the country presently. Moreover, the expected price of the scooter is another factor for not introducing it in India.

Considering that the CB500X was priced at around Rs 7 lakh, the X-ADV would likely carry a price tag of no less than Rs 10-12 lakh (ex-showroom), making it quite an expensive investment.
