Honda Dio H-Smart Launched at Rs. 77,712 in India

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has officially launched the Dio H-Smart in the Indian market, with prices displayed on the company's website. The Honda Dio H-Smart costs Rs. 77,712 (ex-showroom), but the prices of the normal models are slightly raised due to the modifications required to fulfil BSVI stage 2 emission standards.

Price of Honda H-Smart

The Honda Dio H-Smart is the top-of-the-line scooter after the release of the Activa H-Smart in 110cc and 125 cc models. The regular Honda Dio now costs Rs. 1,586 more than before, while the DLX costs Rs. 74,212 (ex-showroom). It is possible that it will have alloy wheels, making the scooter lighter.

Engine Specifications of Honda H-Smart

The 109 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine of the scooter is updated to meet the latest emission standards. The engine produces 7.8 bhp of power and 9 Nm of maximum torque. The new Smart key provides SmartFind, Smart Start, Smart Unlock, and Smart Safe functions.

The engine start/stop switch has two functions: pressing it downward starts the engine while pressing it upward works as an Engine kill switch. Furthermore, the H-Smart model has a Lock Mod that provides a 5-in-1 capability without using a physical key. The smart key aids in the easy location of the scooter.

Smart Features of Honda Dio H-Smart 

When the Honda Smart Key's answer back button is hit, all four turn indicators glow twice. The smart key technology lets you lock and unlock the scooter without needing a physical key. If there is no action for twenty seconds after activation, the scooter will be disabled automatically.

By electrically matching (ID) between the ECU and Smart Key, the Mapped Smart ECU works as a security device to avoid Vehicle theft. It features an immobiliser system that prohibits a key that is not registered from starting the engine. If the smart key is within two metres of the rider, the rider may start the scooter without even removing the key by twisting the knob on the Loc Mod to the ignition position and pressing the start button.
