Honda Motorcycles has unveiled an exciting new addition to its lineup, the limited-edition CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP Carbon Edition. This bike is inspired by Honda Racing Corporation’s (HRC) race efforts and features technology from the Honda RC213V MotoGP race bike.
Only 300 units of this special edition will be made, 70 of which will be allocated to France and 45 to the UK. It’s a rare model that’s already gaining attention across Europe. The Carbon Edition is priced at GBP 26,749 (around Rs. 29.49 lakh). Let’s know more about its looks and performance.
Honda's CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP Carbon Edition is a true showstopper with its full carbon fibre bodywork. Due to its 3 K/12 K pre-impregnated carbon fibre parts, Honda calls this bike "the ultimate all-black stealth racing sportbike. " These include a full fairing, mudguards, engine guard, airbox cover, and even aerodynamic winglets.
Moreover, the matte clear coat adds a UV-resistant layer that ensures durability and keeps its stealthy, understated look intact. Apart from this, the iconic HRC logo on the fairing provides a small burst of colour. This striking combination of technology and style captures the spirit of racing.
The Carbon Edition has a 1000cc four-cylinder engine producing over 200 horsepower. It also includes advanced racing electronics and an Akrapovic exhaust system for an enhanced riding experience. Moreover, the Carbon Edition shares the same mechanical features as the standard Fireblade SP. Its raw power and advanced technology demand an experienced rider who can handle its full potential.
