Hero MotoCorp started their business in Nepal in 2014, and now they want to grow bigger. The company just opened a new facility for production in Nepal. They teamed up with CG Motors, who sells their bikes there. This new place in Nawalparasi can make 75,000 bikes every year. Hero MotoCorp manufactures all 2 wheelers, including motorcycles and scooters, there.
CG Motors will also make more places to sell and fix bikes all over Nepal. They will focus on making small bikes like Hero Xpulse 200 4V, Super Splendor, and Splendor Plus motorcycles. For scooters, they'll make the Xoom 110. Hero MotoCorp is a big company worldwide, and now ensures to expand their customer base in Nepal. Apart from this, they are also creating job opportunities and investing money in the area.
The Chief Business Officer- Global Business Unit of Hero MotoCorp, Sanjay Bhan, said, "With innovation and technology at its core, Hero MotoCorp is committed to providing world-class products and experiences to its customers across the globe. The new facility in Nepal is well-positioned to make the bikes easily available for customers. CG Motors wants to open more than 100 places to buy and fix bikes in the next three months. They already opened a big store in Kathmandu.
