In India, Hero MotoCorp is in continuation to launch an amazing redesigned version of the Destini 125 scooter. However, the design patent image of the new Hero Destini 125 has leaked online.
The patent image shows the scooter's profile and highlights the retro-inspired flat side panel and prominent taillight assembly. Earlier images mention how the overall design will combine modern and vintage elements. The front apron will get new LED lighting and copper accents.
Hero MotoCorp is not expected to make any technical changes in the new Destini 125. Therefore, it is likely to retain the 124.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 9bhp at 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm at 5,500rpm. This engine will be the same mated with a CVT automatic transmission.
Additionally, with upgrades and feature improvements, the Hero aims to compete with the Suzuki Access 125 and the TVS Jupiter 125. The new Destini 125 is expected to be launched during the festive season in India and to be priced between Rs. 80,000 and Rs. 85,000 (ex-showroom).
