One of the greatest two-wheeler launches of the year undoubtedly took place in the last week. Still, there were also a few more intriguing occurrences, including the model discontinuance and document leak of a probable upcoming scooter. Here is a brief summary of these updates in case you weren't yet aware of them.
After much anticipation, Royal Enfield finally unveiled the Super Meteor 650, their new flagship model, in India. The base Astral variant costs Rs 3,48,900, while the Interstellar and Celestial variants are priced at Rs 3,63,000 and Rs 3,78,000, respectively. The SM 650 shares an engine with the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, but everything else about it is brand-new, giving it a unique character.
2023 Yamaha FZ X Spotted
Yamaha is probably about to introduce the 2023 version of their modern-retro FZ X product in India. Recently, the motorcycle was spotted in India, indicating that it may receive an updated front fascia with a windscreen resembling the Himalayas and metal bracing surrounding the headlamp on either side. In addition, there may be further adjustments, but we won't learn about them until the launch.
Honda Activa 6G H-Smart Variant Launch
The new H-Smart Activa 6G has been released by HMSI (Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India). It is the priciest and latest Activa variant. As a starting point, the scooter is priced at Rs 74,536. (ex-showroom). Honda claims that the new scooter has a variety of state-of-the-art advancements. It has a 110 cc PGM-FI engine that is OBD2-compliant. It also has improved smart power (eSP) technology, which ensures linear power generation.
Honda CB500X Removed From the Website
The CB500X was taken down from Honda's Indian BigWing website. While this might be a sign that it has been removed from the stores, we have not yet received a formal confirmation. The motorcycle isn't currently in stock, but according to a few BigWing dealers we contacted across India, the 2023 model could debut in April or May.
KTM RC Cup Selection Rounds
The RC Cup amateur one-make racing championship's selection rounds have started, according to KTM. The corporation has already held the selection round in Mumbai, but it has also made announcements for seven additional cities across India. Anyone who is confident in their riding abilities can participate in this open tournament.
