Harley Davidson X440 to Launch on 3rd July in India

After its launch, it could be the most affordable Harley in India, with a price of around 2 lakhs.

Harley-Davidson will launch its Harley Davidson X440 on 3 July 2023 in India. After its partnership with Hero MotoCorp, it unveiled its first motorcycle. This new motorcycle, jointly developed by both companies, will be launched in India on 3 July 2023. The Harley-Davidson X440 is a vintage roadster bike that looks elegant in style and design. 

The Engine of the Harley Davidson X440

Harley-Davidson has provided a 440 cc air/oil-cool, single-cylinder engine with the X 440. It’s mainly focussed on the low and mid-range grunt over the explosive top end. The information about power and torque has yet to be revealed, and the company will provide this information at launch. However, the maximum output value exceeds the Royal Enfield Classic 350. 

The X440 bike's engine is expected to be attached with a 6-speed gearbox and torque of 40Nm. It is also speculated that the motorcycle will get dual-channel ABS apart from discs in both wheels. 

Other Features of X440

Other bike details include a single downtube tubular frame suspended by a USD fork and twin shock absorbers. The MRF tyres of the X440 and 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels are similar to the Pirelli phantom sport comp. With machined accents on the alloy wheels and oil cooler, premium details like the indicators with the HD emblem, and high-quality nuts and fasteners, the fit and finish seem fairly premium.

Pricing and Competition of Harley Davidson X440

Harley-Davidson is about to launch the new X 440 at an attractive price considering the Indian market and competition. The price of the new bike could be around 2 lakhs. The new X440 will compete with the likes of Royal Enfield and the Honda 350 range, among many other bikes in the country. This will probably be the cheapest bike ever launched by Harley-Davidson in India. The company hopes many customers would like to buy this Harley-Davidson bike on a budget.
