Everything You Should Know About The Newly Launched FZ-S Fi Version 4.0 DLX

The FZ-S Fi Version 4.0, which was unveiled by Yamaha India, boasts a few noticeable improvements over the previous model. The Deluxe is the model in question, and it costs Rs 1.27 lakh. It is the highest specification model by the brand.

Yamaha FZ-S Fi Version 4.0 Deluxe: All New Updates

Yamaha has installed a brand-new cluster in place of the previous LED headlight to improve the aesthetics of the motorcycle. It has a separate LED for the low beam and a reflector-style LED headlight in the centre. The bike looks meaner thanks to the headlight’s LED Daytime Running Lamps on either side. A tiny windscreen with integrated LED indicators caps the headlight. In fact, Yamaha offers LED indicators across the board on their motorcycle lineup in India. The rest of the bike’s design is identical, but some of the highlights include the big fuel tank and blue wheels.

On this motorcycle, Yamaha has added a traction control system for added security. As a result, the FZ-S Fi Deluxe V4 is the only motorcycle in its class to include this safety mechanism. Naturally, some would question the need for traction control on a 150cc motorcycle that produces 12.4hp and 13.3Nm. However, the safety net that traction control offers cannot be disregarded, given the unpredictable nature of Indian roads, which may take out even the finest riders due to gravel, sand, water, or spilt diesel. Despite this, this top-of-the-line FZ still lacks twin-channel ABS, which would have increased the level of safety even more. The only other reason why the bike only has ABS on the front wheel is the added cost.

Last but not least, a new digital instrument cluster that appears to have been taken from the Yamaha MT-15 is added to the Yamaha FZ-S Fi Deluxe Version 4.0. In addition, it has Bluetooth connectivity, and users may pair their smartphone to it using the Yamaha Y-Connect app to do things like receive incoming calls and SMS alerts.

New Updates to the Entire Yamaha Range

In addition to the FZ-S Fi V4, the firm also updates the FZ-X, MT-15, and R15 motorcycles. Traction control is added to the FZ-X, MT-15, and R15 while it was already present in the R15. A new colour TFT instrument cluster is also added to the R15 M. LED turn indicators are also available for the MT-15 and FZ-X.
