The Italian brand has introduced the Icon Dark to make the Scrambler lineup more affordable. Considering the price hikes over the last few years and customers' changing preferences, Ducati is trying to capture a wider audience with this model.

To this end, both the Scrambler 800 Icon Dark and the Ducati Scrambler 800 S come with the same 803cc air-cooled V-twin engine, delivering a peak power of 73bhp. An A2 variant is also available that puts out 47bhp of power. The engine is matched to a six-speed gearbox. Features include two riding modes—Rain and Sport— and cornering ABS, as well as a bidirectional quick-shifter.

The new Icon Dark will be priced at £9,495 (about Rs 10.43 lakh), which is cheaper than the Icon. This bike will be available in Indian showrooms sometime in mid-2025 and will then be the cheapest model on the company's books.
