Honda has added excitement to its compact modern-classic motorbike, the Hness CB35. Honda released a couple of factory custom kits for the motorcycle. Current CB350 owners or those looking to purchase one can modify their bike to resemble a tourer, scrambler or café racer by installing one of these new kits.
For readers particularly interested in the café racer style, we have some photos of the kit along with additional information.
The kit includes a petite bubble cowl with a retro design, which enhances the vintage appearance of the motorcycle's front fascia. The cowl is available in a colour that complements the fuel tank and the rear cowl.
To achieve the full café racer aesthetic, a smooth cowl replaces the pillion seat and seamlessly merges with the classic ribbed-pattern seat.
It's worth mentioning that the café racer kit is the priciest among the other available kits, costing Rs 22,600. However, those interested can have it installed at the dealership before taking delivery of their new bike.
In addition to introducing these customisation options, the Honda Hness CB350 has also been equipped with an OBD2-A (on-board diagnostic) system, which will be a requirement from 1 April 2023.
The remaining mechanical specifications of the Hness have remained unaltered. It remains powered by a 348 cc, air-cooled engine that generates 20.78 bhp and 30 Nm of torque. The engine is coupled with a five-speed transmission.
The bike rides on a combination of 19-18 inch alloy wheels. Further, the wheels are supported by suspension equipped with telescopic forks and dual springs.
Braking is supported with a single disc at the front and rear ends. It is further coupled with dual-channel ABS as a standard feature of this model.
