Aprilia launched the RS 457 bike in December 2023, and Aprilia RS 457 bookings are now open in Pune at Phoenix Mall Viman Nagar and in Bangalore at Nexus Mall Koramangala.

The Phoenix stall was opened for a month starting on February 17th, while the Bangalore stall was opened on February 20th. Also, the Aprilia RS 457 Test drives are now available at showrooms from March 15th.

A source noted the Aprilia RS 457 display at Nexus Mall, which attracted a major crowd. Nearby, a wildlife travel company's stall also showcased stunning wildlife photographs. Aprilia plans to sell from two outlets in Bangalore: Avant Motoplex in Marathahalli and near BDA Complex in Banashankari III stage. In addition, a sales representative at Avant Motoplex mentioned that customers may get the option to switch showrooms and colours.

This Aprilia bike price in India starts from Rs. 4,60,442 Lakh. The deliveries of this bike are expected to begin from April. Please note that the Aprilia RS 457 on road price varies from State-to-State RTO taxes. 

What Did Visitors Notice About Aprilia RS 457 Bike?

Visitors to the Aprilia RS 457 bike showroom noticed some major features. They checked out the colors available, liking the matte finish of the Prismatic Dark (purple) shade. Moreover, they preferred the actual colours with the racing stripes. However, they did not find an Opalescent Light (white) color variant. 

Moreover, the bike's RAM air intake system allowed the visitors to observe the air channels located beneath the headlights and above the winglet, leading directly under the tank through the chassis. The welds on the pillion footpeg were noted for their quality improvement compared to previous models.

People also looked at optional add-ons for the bike, like the slip and assist clutch. Moreover, they needed clarification on the quick-shifter, which is available as an extra. They further learned that servicing for this model is needed every 6000 km.

However, some visitors expressed concern about a gap above the engine, suggesting it could be filled for a better aesthetic. The bike's larger, curved radiator was also a surprise detail.

The RS 457 has a 457cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine that generates 46.9 bhp and a torque of 43.5 Nm. Moreover, the Aprilia RS 457 engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch, ensuring smooth and precise gear shifts. This bike’s engine delivers a formidable 35 kW of power with dual camshaft timing and four valves per cylinder.

This high-performance Aprilia RS 457 engine is complemented by a meticulously designed chassis featuring an aluminium frame. Aprilia has incorporated innovative design elements, such as using the engine block as a load-bearing component.

The front headlight of the Aprilia RS 457 is equipped with full LED lights, showcasing the modern style seen in the latest Aprilia bikes. It includes integrated turn signals for added convenience. The instrument panel, displayed on a 5-inch TFT colour screen, provides clear and easy-to-read information to the rider. Additionally, the handlebar controls are illuminated, making them easy to use even in low-light conditions.

Aprilia RS 457 has provided adjustable front USD forks and a rear monoshock that can be adjusted for preload. This bike has a 320mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear. These brakes are fitted on 17-inch wheels, which are wrapped in TVS Protorq tyres.
