Ultraviolette Supernova DC Fast Charging Stations Launched In 3 States

Ultraviolette Supernova stands out for its consistent focus on improving both its products and supporting infrastructure. This Bangalore based company has recently announced the launch of its DC fast-charging infrastructure named UV Supernova. This includes the 6 kW 'Supernova' and the 12 kW 'Supernova Plus' charging stations.

These stations are strategically located in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. The company installed charging stations near cafes and highways, ensuring that users of Ultraviolette's F77 electric motorcycle can conveniently access fast charging when needed.

At present, Ultraviolette has 10 DC fast-charging stations in operation. They're aiming to set up more than 100 stations in the first phase of the UV Supernova charging Infrastructure.

About UV Supernova Charging Infrastructure & F77 Two-wheeler

The Ultraviolette F77 is currently the fastest electric two-wheeler available for purchase in India. The company’s portfolio only includes the F77 model, which comes in two variants, original and Recon.

With its optimal battery capacity, it can cover a range of 307 km. It can go very fast, reaching a maximum speed of 152 kmph. Further, it can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in just 2.9 seconds. More importantly, it delivers power performance with 40 HP and 100 Nm of torque.

The currently operational and planned UV Supernova charging station will have Type 6 connectors. These connectors adhere to the IS17017-2-6 (IEC 62196-6) Standard, approved by the BIS, ensuring compatibility  and user-friendliness. The 6 kW charging stations come with two 3 kW DC fast charging guns, while the 12 kW stations have two 6 kW DC fast charging guns. Both stations can also accommodate the optional Boost charger for the F77 electric motorcycle.
