Auto Expo 2023: Benelli Leoncino 800 was Just Showcased

The Leoncino 800 was on display by Benelli at the Auto Expo 2023 in India. Here is what the Chinese middleweight looks like now that we are getting close to it.

The Leoncino 800 features a brawny design, just like its younger siblings. The LED headlight, hefty fuel tank, exposed chassis, and overall chunky dimensions give the bike quite some presence. A 754cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine producing 75 bhp and 64 Nm powers it. The engine is housed inside a trellis frame and is coupled to a six-speed transmission.

Benelli has given the Leoncino a fully digital display as part of its feature set. It includes all the necessary gauges, including the odometer, trip metre, speedometer, and more. USD front forks and a mono-shock are used to support the Leoncino 800. Additionally, there are two 320mm front discs and one 260mm rear disc with ABS in the braking system. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with 180/55 rear tires and 120/70 front tires.

Benelli India currently exclusively provides the Leoncino 500 for our market. We anticipate the price of the 800 to be substantially more than the 500 if it launches here.
