Bajaj Pulsar N160 vs Pulsar NS160: The Ultimate Comparison

The Pulsar range has been updated by Bajaj since last year. The Pulsar F250 and Pulsar N250 were the catalysts for everything. The company this year introduced the Pulsar New Bike- Pulsar N160, to the Indian market, and more recently, the Pulsar P150, which is the most economical new-generation Pulsar available, was introduced. Among the current lineup of new-generation Pulsars is the Pulsar N160. However, Bajaj already offers a 160 cc Pulsar in its lineup - Pulsar NS160.

Here is a comparison of the Bajaj Latest Bikes- Pulsar N160 and NS160 in case you're not sure which one to choose.

Bajaj Pulsar N160 vs Pulsar NS160: The Looks

N160 Vs NS 160

Despite the fact that aesthetics are subjective, the Pulsar N160 appears more contemporary than the Pulsar NS160. The design of the Pulsar N160 is the same as the Pulsar N250, but it has an underbelly exhaust. The Pulsar NS200 resembles the Pulsar NS160 more. In actuality, everything about it is the same but for the area where the engine is located.

Bajaj Pulsar N160 vs Pulsar NS160: Value-Adding Features

The Pulsar NS160 lacks some features that the Pulsar N160 offers. However, it comes with a new semi-digital instrument cluster that indicates the time and the distance to empty, an LED projector headlamp, a side-stand cut-off, and a USB charger as starters.

Bajaj Pulsar N160 vs Pulsar NS160: Engine & Gearbox

Both motorcycles have a similar engine, but a small difference. Both of them have a single cylinder and air-oil cooling. The Pulsar N160, on the other hand, has a 2-valve system that generates 15.78 bhp at 8,750 rpm and a maximum torque output of 14.65 Nm at 6,750 rpm.

On the other hand, the 4-valve system of the Pulsar NS160 produces 16.96 bhp at 9,000 rpm and a maximum torque output of 14.6 Nm at 7,250 rpm. Although the engines produce the same amount of torque, the Pulsar N160 does so earlier in the rpm range. Therefore, while the power is better distributed throughout the Pulsar N160's engine's rev range, the Pulsar NS 160's engine produces more power, but it does so in the higher rev range.

Bajaj Pulsar N160 vs Pulsar NS160: Price

Pulsar N160 price is set at Rs. 1.30 lakh for the dual-channel ABS and Rs. 1.23 lakh for the single-channel ABS. The Pulsar NS160 price, on the other hand, is set at Rs. 1.25 lakh.
