Bajaj's much-awaited flagship, the Pulsar 400, is gearing up for its grand launch on May 3rd, 2024. Anticipation is high as enthusiasts eagerly await to see if this new addition can outperform the Dominar 400.
Bajaj plans to make the Pulsar 400 both powerful and affordable by using the 373cc engine from the Dominar to attract more customers. The Pulsar 400 is expected to deliver a good mix of power and agility with an engine output of 39 bhp and 35 Nm of torque. It's predicted to be priced around Rs 2.10 Lakh, but there might be early deals bringing it below Rs 2 Lakh.
Bajaj might opt for a refreshed version or even a new, full-colour display, elevating the riding experience. To complement its speed, the Pulsar 400 will feature a wider rear tyre and 17-inch wheels at both ends. Safety features include dual-channel ABS and a monoshock suspension system.
With a focus on speed and performance, the Pulsar 400 is expected to sport the most aerodynamic profile in the Pulsar lineup. Bajaj aims to position the Pulsar 400 as one of the fastest in its class. It will stand out against competitors such as Triumph Speed 400, KTM 390 Duke, Hero Mavrick 440, BMW G310R, and TVS Apache RR 310.
Exciting new elements of the Bajaj Pulsar 400 can be seen in its side profile, such as its enlarged tank shrouds, updated fuel tank, and aluminum-finished subframe. Those who bike with a tubular handlebar can anticipate a relaxed riding position. There's hope for improved switchgear and hints of additional customization choices with the adjustable levers.
Moreover, this Bajaj Bike is anticipated to come equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster featuring a range of smartphone connectivity options, including turn-by-turn navigation. Standard features include Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, SMS/call alerts, ride modes, ABS modes, and traction control.
Bajaj Pulsar had a significant impact on the two-wheeler market in India since it first debuted in 2001. Along with the Pulsar 400, the company is breaking new ground with a CNG-powered motorbike that will be on sale in June 2024, which will be a big deal for the automotive sector.
