Presenting several two-wheelers at the Auto Expo 2023, including the Keeway SR125, Sixties 300i, K-Light 250V, K300 N, Vieste 300 and K300 R, Keeway was able to jazz up the event.
The retro-themed Keeway Sixties 300i scooter attracted a good deal of attention at the Auto Expo 2023 thanks to its vintage appeal and intricate design. Additionally, Keeway did a genuinely amazing job at executing the retro design overall; it is well off at least a second look.
Despite its vintage appearance, the Keeway Sixties 300i is a fairly contemporary scooter with the same 278cc, single-cylinder petrol motor as the Keeway Vieste 300 scooter. Despite the enormous capacity, the powertrain is calibrated to generate a maximum of 22Nm of peak torque and 18.4bhp of peak power. The cost of the Keeway Sixties 300i is Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Keeway SR125 is the most cost-effective Keeway motorcycle available in India. It has a 125cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC engine with approximately 9.7bhp of peak power and 8.2Nm of peak torque and costs Rs. 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Aside from that, this engine is paired with a 5-speed transmission.
The cheapest Keeway motorbike you can get in India is the SR125. It costs Rs. 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom) and has a 125cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC engine with just 9.7bhp of maximum power and 8.2Nm of maximum torque. Besides that, a 5-speed gearbox is included with this engine.
However, the Keeway SR125 is pretty well-equipped with features like a warning switch, a coloured digital instrument cluster, LED DRLs, a pair of LED turn indicators, LED tail lamps, a 300mm front disc brake, 210mm rear disc brake, side stand engine cut-off, 5-step adjustable rear suspension, and a combi braking system.
With the release of the Keeway Vieste 300 scooter, the Hungarian two-wheeler manufacturer joined the Indian two-wheeler market. In fact, the Hungarian manufacturer established a brand-new scooter market in the nation with the introduction of the Keeway Vieste 300. The Keeway Vieste 300, on the contrary, is more expensive, costing Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Keeway K-Light 250V is a cruiser-style motorbike with quite an appealing look. In addition, it has a V-Twin engine, making it the first quarter-litre cruiser motorcycle in India. Peak power and torque from this engine are 18.5 bhp and 19 nm, respectively. A 5-speed gearbox is also included with this engine. This motorbike is already available from Keeway for Rs 2.89 lakh (ex-showroom, India), with a Rs 10,000 maximum booking amount.
While the Keeway K300 R is a fully-faired motorbike, the Keeway K300 N is a naked motorcycle. However, under the skin, both bikes are extremely similar and have a 292cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine with a maximum output of 27bhp and a maximum torque of 25Nm. The engine also includes a 6-speed gearbox. The Keeway K300 N has priced at Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom) at the time of debut, while the Keeway K 300R is Rs 34,000 more costly.
At the Auto Expo 2023, the Hungarian two-wheeler manufacturer Keeway was able to draw in a sizable crowd by displaying a range of two-wheelers, including the SR125, the Sixties 300i, Vieste 300, K-Light 250V, K300 N, and K300 R. However, the Sixties 300i scooter with its throwback design concept is the most intriguing of this collection, though.
