Ather Teased Ritza Again, But This Time With Bassi

Ather Energy has been teasing its upcoming Rizta electric scooter for a really long time. This time, one of the biggest stand-up comedians, Anubhav Singh Bassi, teased Ritza on his Instagram handle.

The teased images show an LED integrated seamlessly with a front apron, offering a sleek & modern look. You can also see a large and potentially touchscreen instrument panel hints at advanced features with Bluetooth connectivity & navigation. 

The images show the Rizta's generous size, showcasing a wide and long seat that can comfortably accommodate two adults. A large floorboard and roomy underseat storage suggest ample space for groceries and other essentials. Ultimately, this makes it a great family scooter option for everyone. 

To cater to family needs, the Rizta is expected to have a new motor and a larger battery pack compared to the Ather 450X, offering potentially increased range and power.

Expected to launch in June 2024, possibly during Ather Community Day 2024, the Rizta is estimated to cost between Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 1.35 lakh. It will compete with other family-oriented electric scooters like the TVS iQube and the Ola S1 Air.
