Ather Launching 3 New Electric Scooters On August 11

On August 11, Ather Energy plans to release three new electric scooters. This information was made available to the public through the company's social media channels. The teaser video shows three new scooters, one of which will be launched on Friday. 

The scooters will also include 450S which will make its appearance. It was released a few weeks ago, but there were no official sales. The 450S is their affordable model, which may help them increase sales in this rapidly expanding market.  

The Ather 450S will be similar to the 450X in appearance. It will, however, include a new LCD display with colourful elements. Some other features that 450S is believed to lack are Google Maps and connected technology. 

However, the Ather claims a range of 115 km on a single charge and a peak speed of 90 kmph. Given that the top speed of both electric scooters is the same, it is assumed that the 450S would employ the same electric motor as the 450X.

In a Twitter video released by the company, one of the company’s spokesperson talked about the scooters regarding the additional power, torque, and range. The new models' pricing is currently unknown, but expect slight price increases in the top variants.
