The top electric scooter brand, Ather Energy, has introduced a new exchange program in Bengaluru. It's specifically for current scooter owners keen on upgrading to the newest models, the 450X or the Ather 450 Apex. This initiative, starting as a pilot program, targets specific customers who enrolled in the Ather Upgrade program in January 2023.
The Ather Upgrade program presents an excellent opportunity for scooter owners to experience the latest models with advanced features. It aims to facilitate a seamless transition while providing attractive pricing options and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The Ather Energy Exchange Program presents opportunities for scooter owners in Bengaluru. This initiative allows owners of Ather 450 Gen 1 and Gen 1.5 models to upgrade to either the 450X or the 450 Apex. If you opt for the 450X, make sure to complete the purchase, receive the invoice and register by March 31 2024. Alternatively, if you prefer the 450 Apex, you have until April 30 2024, to complete these steps.
The entire process is supposed to be finished around the same day. Owners need to carry their scooters to the Ather Space Experience Center in Indiranagar, Bengaluru, for assessment. Trained personnel will evaluate the scooter's condition to guarantee it meets the program's qualification measures. Also, Ather will check for any pending traffic offences or challans.
Even owners of pre-owned Ather 450 models are eligible for this program if they signed up for it in January of the previous year. If your scooter is more than 36 months old, you can buy a new 450 Apex for Rs 1.10 lakh. The 450X with the 3.7 kWh Pro Pack costs Rs 90,000, and the 450X with the 2.9 kWh Pro Pack costs Rs 80,000.
The price of Ather 450 X in India begins from Rs. 1.26 to 1.52 Lakh, and Ather 450 Apex is priced at Rs. 1.89 Lakh. These Ather electric scooters have responsive touchscreen displays and digital instrument consoles. However, there are a few differentiations between them. The Ather 450 Apex stands apart with its hill assist feature, which supports smoother rides on inclines. It also incorporates hazard cautioning indicators, improving security on the road.
Then again, the Ather 450X offers extra features like remote diagnostics and Ather Dot for home charging. Additionally, it gets theft notifications, Find My scooter and inter-city trip planning. These features make it more flexible for urban driving and longer journeys.
