Kawasaki recently launched the 2025 Ninja 650 in international markets. Now, they plan to launch it in India during the upcoming festive season. They are doing this to increase interest and boost sales, which has slowed for the current model.
The 2025 Ninja 650 has mainly received visual updates, with two new color options. It will be available in Candy Steel Furnace Orange/Metallic Spark Black/Metallic Royal Purple and Metallic Matte Old School Green/Metallic Spark Black. Furthermore, the KRT Edition will feature special graphics from the Kawasaki Racing Team. Kawasaki hopes these updates will excite motorcycle fans and improve Ninja 650 sales in India.
Kawasaki has just updated the colour and aesthetics of the 2025 Ninja 650. As a result, it still gets power from a 649cc, Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke Parallel Twin engine that produces 67.07 bhp @ 8,000 rpm and 64 Nm of torque @ 6,700 rpm. Moreover, the upcoming 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 engine will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts. The current model runs on a top speed of 210 Kmph and we can expect the same with the upcoming Kawasaki Ninja 650.
Apart from this, Kawasaki offers a 4.3-inch TFT colour display for the Ninja 650’s instrument panel. It also includes LED lighting, and smartphone connectivity that helps riders to link their phones with the bike.
Furthermore, the Ninja 650 comes with a traction control system, three riding modes to adjust the bike's performance based on different conditions. The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja comes with dual-channel ABS to help prevent wheel lock-up during braking. These features aim to provide a safer and more enjoyable riding experience.
Kawasaki plans to increase the price of the 2025 Ninja 650. The current model costs Rs 7.12 lakh (ex-showroom). Moreover, the new 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is expected to be priced at around Rs 7.35 lakh in India.
The Ninja 650 will face competition from several other bikes in the market. Key rivals include the Honda CB650R, Suzuki V-Strom 650XT and Triumph Trident 660. The new price point reflects the bike's enhancements and its value compared to its rivals.
If the Ninja 650 is too powerful for you then don’t worry, Kawasaki has launched made-in-India Ninja 300.
