2023 Yamaha MotoGP Edition MT-15 Now in 7 Stunning Colours

Yamaha India celebrated its first-ever MotoGP Bharat and has launched its new colour in the MT-15 MotoGP edition along with 2 other models - R15 & Ray ZR 125. With the new colour available in MT-15, the model now offers 7 stunning colours for you to choose from. 

The new Yamaha MT-15 MotoGP edition gets the most expensive price tag of Rs 1.72 lakhs in India (ex-showroom). It receives the Eneos & Monster Energy branding across the black & blue coloured bodywork. This seems quite similar to the current Yamaha M1- the brand’s MotoGP bike. The other colour options include - 

• Racing Blue, 
• Cyan Storm, 
• Ice Fluo Vermillion, 
• Metallic Black DLX, 
• Metallic Black and 
• Dark Matte Blue 

That being said, the starting price of MT-15 will be Rs 1.67 lakhs, depending on the colour option you choose. 

Besides the new colour option, the 2023 MT-15 also features an updated & more powerful engine, which is OBD2-Compliant and is 155 cc with a single-cylinder. This agile engine is capable of churning out 18.1 bhp @ 10,000 rpm & a peak torque output of 14.2 Nm @ 7,500 rpm. The engine is further mated to a 6-speed gearbox. 

As for the features, it includes - 

• LED Lighting
• VVA (Variable Valve Actuation)
• Smartphone Connectivity (for Y-Connect edition)
• Access to call alerts, SMS & Email Alerts, Phone Battery, Last Parked Location & Malfunction notifications
• ABS
• Traction Control System

As for the rivals of the 2023 Yamaha MT-15 MotoGP Edition, it includes - TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Hero Xtreme 160R, and Honda Hornet 2.0.
