This resulted in a 36.34% increase in YoY growth. Moreover, an impressive 71.48% growth in MoM sales is seen, as in September 2024, sales figures were 15,14,634 units. OEM-wise Market Share Data for October 2024 with YoY % 2-Wheeler OEMs Sales Figures & Market Share in October 2024Hero MotoCorp LTD sold the most two-wheelers in October 2024, with 576,532 units. This is a 37.70% increase from the 418,672 units they sold in October 2023. Moreover, their market share increased by 1.00%. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India came in second, selling 554,249 units in October 2024. This is a 37.32% increase from the 403,604 units they sold in October 2023. Their market share also increased by 0.72%. TVS Motor Company Ltd. was third, selling 351,950 units in October 2024 compared to 252,359 units sold in October 2023. Their sales increased by 39.46%, and their market share increased by 2.29%. Bajaj Auto Ltd showed a 28.41% increase in sales, selling 230,254 units in October 2024 compared to 179,308 last year. Its market share declined slightly to 5.82%. Suzuki Motorcycle India witnessed a 32.49% YoY growth, with 106,362 units sold in October 2024, compared to 80,278 in October 2023. Suzuki’s market share decreased to 2.82%. Royal Enfield motorcycles experienced a 36.12% growth in sales, with 95,113 units sold in October 2024, up from 69,873 last year. Its market share decreased to 0.16%. Yamaha India sold 68,153 units in October 2024, which is a 22.80% increase from 55,497 units in October 2023. Moreover, their market share decreased to 9.93%.  In October 2024, Ola Electric reported total sales of 41,651, an impressive 74.33% increase compared to October 2023 sales of 23,892 units. Moreover, the company also gained a 27.86% market share rise.  Ather Energy Pvt Ltd sold 15,993 units in October 2024. For comparison, the company registered sales of 8,484 units in October 2023, reporting a whopping increase of 88.51%. Moreover, on the market share front, the company also experienced an increase of 38.26% this month. Classic Legends, which offers retro-style motorcycles, sold 4,180 units in October 2024. This represents a 50.58% growth from the 2,776 units sold in October 2023. Their market share also increased to 10.44%. Greaves Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd clocked in a total sales unit of 3,981 in October 2024, as compared to 4,184 units sold in October 2023. Due to this, the company saw a decline of 4.85% this month. Apart from this, the company also experienced a decline in its market share by 30.21% for October 2024.  Piaggio sold 3,241 units in October 2024, a 2.88% decrease from the 3,337 units sold in October 2023. This is a 4.53% decline from the 349,784 units they sold in September 2023. However, their market share increased by 4.35%. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India came in second, selling 271,390 units in September 2024. This is a 22.96% decline from the 352,254 units they sold in September 2023. Their market share also declined by 15.79%. TVS Motor Company Ltd was third, selling 221,257 units in September 2024 compared to 229,381 units sold in September 2023. Their sales declined by 3.54%, and the market share increased by 5.43%. Bajaj Auto Ltd showed a 5.32% decline in sales, selling 141,668 units in September 2024 compared to 149,633 last year. Its market share increased slightly to 3.49%. Suzuki Motorcycle India witnessed a decent growth of 0.61% YoY, with 74,287 units sold in September 2024, compared to 73,837 in September 2023. Suzuki’s market share also rose to 9.97%. Royal Enfield motorcycles experienced a 10.37% decline in sales, with 57,504 units sold in September 2024, down from 64,159 last year. Its market share decreased to 2.03%. Yamaha India sold 50,065 units in September 2024, which is a 0.86% increase from 49,639 units in September 2023. Moreover, their market share increased to 10.24%.  In September 2024, Ola Electric reported total sales of 24,679, a whopping 31.90% increase compared to September 2023 sales of 18,711 units. Moreover, the company also gained a 44.17% market share rise.  Ather Energy Pvt Ltd sold 12,718 units in September 2024. For comparison, the company registered sales of 7,195 units in September 2023, reporting an increase of 76.76%. Moreover, on the market share front, the company also experienced an increase of 93.21% this month. Greaves Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd clocked in a total sales unit of 2,777 in September 2024, as compared to 3,613 units sold in September 2023. Due to this, the company saw a decline of 23.14% this month. Apart from this, the company also experienced a decline in its market share by 15.99% for September 2024.  Piaggio sold 2,562 units in September 2024, a 13.27% decrease from the 2,954 units sold in September 2023. The company’s market share also dropped slightly to 5.20%. Classic Legends, which offers retro-style motorcycles, sold 2,125 units in September 2024. This represents a 14.42% decline from the 2,483 units sold in September 2023. Their market share also fell to 6.46%. Bgauss Auto Private Limited Sold 1,237 Units in September 2024 compared to 935 Units last year in the same month. Shares of Ola Electric Mobility rose from INR 76 to a high of INR 157.53 within a week, briefly outpacing Tesla's valuation.However, the profit-making process caused the following session to drop 22%. Today, the stock rebounded 7.7%, with the lock-in period ending tomorrow. One of the most perplexing stock market listings in recent times is Ola Electric Mobility, a modest debut company. It registered at a high bar price of Rs 76, but the share price has soared. It doubled in just 7 days to an all-time high of Rs 157.53. At its peak, Ola Electric’s valuation briefly surpassed that of Tesla, listed on Wall Street. The stock, which was listed in August, has already provided investors with a turbulent experience. Not long after that, it also came under heavy pressure, falling 22% over five trading sessions amid profit-taking. Intraday Surge, Lock-In Period Expiry, and Broker InsightsShares of Ola Electric Mobility fell in the latest session but rose 7.7% during the latest intraday trade. Moreover, the lock-in period for 50% of the company's shares—about 18.18 crore shares, or 4% of the total outstanding shares, held by Nuwama. Additionally, the 6th of September was the last date to anchor lock-in period for 50% of the company’s shares. Even with limited price history, domestic broker Anand Rathi expects a 54% upside for the stock and sets a price target of Rs 170. "Although we don't have much of a price history for the stock for the short term, the stock looks oversold. Even the fundamentals suggest that the stock has great potential," said the domestic brokerage firm in its report. To this end, Anand rathi advises traders to consider going long on the stock in the range of INR 107.5 – 112.5 with a stop-loss set at INR 95 and an upside target of INR 140 upcoming. Shortly after the listing, global brokerage HSBC began reporting on the company. The target price is set at 140 rupees. "We use a DCF methodology to value Ola Electric. We use a WACC of 10.0% and a long-term growth rate of 75%. Our target price implies FY28e price/sales of 2.9x and 39x. We also provide a sensitivity matrix to gauge the sensitivity of Ola's valuation to different parameters. On ESG, Ola's Future factory is all women with a capacity of 20,000 employees," said HSBC's Yogesh Aggarwal. For the first quarter ended June 2024, the company's revenue rose 32% year-on-year.
